Carnage on the message boards

Postby Zoidmeister » Tue Apr 08, 2003 2:52 pm

This beauty was posted on SB's private forums:

"Ubi and Wolfpack should have given away a jar of Vasoline with the SB purchase so at least it would be alot less painful getting screwed."

I give this game about two more weeks till the shit hits the fan on the server crash issue. Seems the servers are going down left and right and the client doesn't seem to run well on Windows ME.

There are very minimal lag spikes right now for me in game and ive yet to see mourning go down this week.

Every once and a while the map is a little slow to load but other than that ive noticed very minimal lag. (No worse than my days in EQ at least)

As for the shit hitting the fan.. you are right.. the shit will hit the fan.. but not the servers the guilds fighting eachother is going to really start picking up soon. Frost Horde and Morloch Horde are holding off intruders on our ice island.. a guild called Denied makes a few runs every now and again in our lands to try and distract us, but we take them out within a few minutes every time.

I expect denied to go on a more offensive strike against us soon, maybe using hammers and siege equipment to try to take our buildings.. but im sure by then we will have more guards (and upgraded guards at that) as well as walls and most of the guild should be rank5 by then.

This poll seems to suggest otherwise:

Lag/server stability seems to be the big issue.
