BWC and DAOC

Postby boubou » Fri Feb 17, 2006 10:22 am

I got a crazy idea. I am hearing from the alb merlin side that there is some good rvr these days, how about you guys reform the guild there, and have most of the people go. I am sure if most leaders decided to go there, many would follow.

People like me who dont have toons on mid merlin can buy one or make one. I am sure lots of you guys have alts to sale, or know people who would sale one.

I just think that it would be nice if most of the guild was together, we got people in wow in gods knows how many servers, people in alb, hib gareth, people in lamorak, and people playing civ 4 and party poker.

Well, let me know if it could be done, or something like that, or if I am just plain crazy (its possible, winters in Canada will do that)

Some of us already are.

Xarkon, myself, and an old friend from CQ run duos/trios most nights. We grouped w/ Liader's new Valk and a healer a few nights ago.

Feel free to come on over, just don't expect too much PvE help I'm afraid. We went through 1-2 months of that getting Xark and my friend geared up, and we pretty much only PvP now. Once you do hit RvR, we'll be happy to group you though, we aren't very elitest about that, heck, we group Xarkon :D

ToA is easy mode now.

No more camping artis , higher scroll drop rate, only need book and credit to activate and alot of the ml's are easier.

IM half considering leveling a warrior or zerk on Mid Merlin. I have a 48 aug buffbot so that really helps. I hear new changes beefed up Warriors, which do you think would be more wanted in RvR groups?
Cthulhu - 50 ML6 - Shadowblade - Merlin (Un-Retired)
Cliibhlibh - 50 ML6 - Shaman - Merlin(Ya I actually RvR with him)
Nosthu - 50 ML3 - Zerk - Merlin
Mosthula - 50 - Minstrel - Albion Lamorak (Retired)
Mosthula - 50 - Lurikeen Champ - Mordred (Retired)

IMO Warriors are a good way to go.

There are more high RR zerks around than warriors, so I think you'll have more luck finding a group as a warrior.

Been grouping with my friends warrior, and they are just sick now. The free magic resists, plus the "fury" shout which gives you another 50% on top of that means that he lasts forever.

He's got 3300 hits and IP2, takes a FG a fair amount of time to finish him off. He's only 4L9 atm, once he gets Tetsudo, its gonna be even more nuts.

The PBAE mez debreaker has saved us more than once, not to mention BG.
