Necro
For death sight speced necros I'd like a step by step on how to play them for farming purposes.

Mana Tap till they get close, FP after first swing, and cast two more mana taps (have to practice timing to get two off), then life tap till dead. Rinse and Repeat. For farming yellows you will most likely not even need to use Facilitate Painworking. For a deathsight necro there really isnt anything more to it.

i personally would respec to servant and farm toa since you have a bot. If you're purely looking to make plat you have to do some server economy research. Meaning finding out what items are rare, how high they sell for, how fast they sell, and how easy it is to farm. A simple start is farming rare scrolls. Read the vn necro boards, one of the best class boards there is for helpfulness. Read the sticky before you post and make sure you are specific when asking questions. This is a basic necro guide i made awhile back:

Best way is to farm the rare scrolls on the server. Typically the most expensive ones are from Green Glades (GoV 3o3, and to a lesser extent, LS 3o3), but check CM prices, since someone might have glutted the market.
Best way to farm them is find red/low purp mobs, and just kill them over and over. Its a real pain, and takes quite a while (you might get one every 4-5 hours), but last I checked, on Merlin, GoV 3o3 sold for like 50p.
You can also farm the Volcanus mobs for SoM 3o3, Tarts 3o3, and misc other ones like Battler and Bruiser. You'll generally get more, and the mobs are easier, but they sell for quite a bit less usually.
Farming artis imo is a waste of time and a big headache, since you have to run all over to find them, you end up in drama with other players getting them, and generally, there are already piles for sale on the CMs.
For pure cash, if you have a salvager, the orc armies is good, can make about 5-6p an hour from mostly salvage, but its not always up, and it only takes one newb/jerk to ruin it.
Finally, you could always save yourself a bunch of time and just check out Ebay. Plat is pretty cheap now

My sm can take 10-15 of those GG mobs con'ed red/purp summ speced, I can't even hold aggro on 2-3 on the necro.
This is what I'm doing...
Fully buffing the necro pet by cleric, casting dmg shield (lasts 30 secs) and sending the pet in. He gets his ass beat so bad the cleric gets aggro from healing so much.
Maybe this bit of info will help, thx

What gear does your necro have?
Should have +400hp, +100 con for summoning, then +100 dex, +100 int, capped resists (at least melee) and +25% spell dur when fighting the mobs.
Fully buff the pet, except spec AF, and cast dex, dex/qui, and int on your necro shade. Bot should have +25% to buffs as well.
On top of that, don't send the pet in, pull with AE str/con debuff from painworking (should have a few points in it to get it. When the mobs get close, PBAE right before the first one hits, then use FP, and 3XPBAE. If you get baf, or they try and cast, either find non-casting mobs, or spam the str/con interupt a few times to interupt. If your pet is on passive, he'll continue to cast the debuff even after the mobs hit him, but its slower when your pet is on defensive since his swing screws things up.
For really high level encounters, you can use DI on your cleric, which will give the pet piles of agro, but thats hard to do for scroll farming, since it will be down.
