Look at the polls ppl put up all over the server forums everyone is going to roll FOTM Vampiirs and Banshees in hib, And Mid Melee tank grps. since all the zerglings played the hell out of alb they will be moving there zerg to hib or mid. After all these years there is a fresh start so i doubt highly albs will have the population imbalance that has plagued 99% of the servers.

Honestly, I agree with Hall, and I think it will probably equally shitty for mids to even make a melee tank group only having 3 dps slots open. You have to have two shamans, and you have to have two healers if you want to run a good 8 man with full buffs. That puts mid in the exact same position as albs, except shamans don't stack. Also, it's fairly common knowledge that Alb is the weakest realm in the game, so most of the people that are coming back don't want to play there, and most of the people rerolling to those servers don't want to play there. Hib will be the zerg realm on this server, and I think mid is going to be a bunch of failed 8man attempts, because an 8 man with two shamans and 3 dps isn't ever going to beat 2 druids a bard and 5 dps classes from hib if they know how to play.

Either way, I'll roll an alb on one server, and a mid on the other with you guys, but I'll probably play the alb more, since I can solo level perfectly fine on a skald and get an RvR group anytime I want with speed, whereas on a Friar (a class that I always wanted to try anyways) I'll need people to actually know that I fucking rock before I get consistant groups. Even though heat cold and matter resists are fucking sweet imo.

i just hope the mass of us figure out what the fuck we are doing and where we are doing it so we can give a full effort into trying to make some good stuff out of the event. Alb or mid i'm down for either just please someone take charge

It's like I said, I'll play both, but it's going to be Alb more than Mid, Alb is the only realm that I don't have a real level 50 that I played in. I PL'd a Scout then got bored of it in a day and stopped playing it. I have like 10 level 50 mids, 4 of them ranging from RR5-8 so bleh... Mid will be just like it always was. I'll play Mid with you guys too, and I'll still probably level faster than alot of people, but Friar Filth will be born on the server you folks choose not to play.

I absolutely loved my friar on Mordred. I got my ass handed to me because I had shitty gear...hey, he was 48. Anyway, a friar is extremely easy to level and has self buffs. Need I say more? I will likely play both realms, too. I am not feeling the Midgard thing personally. However, I won't rain on the parade...I will still play Mid some.

If the vn polls are accurate at all, lamorak will be the larger of the 2 servers, with albs being the smallest faction.

I do also. I rolled a Minstrel to 48+ on Guin and got tired of the grind/time for ToA and shit. I'd love to play alb again.

I think albs would be fun but they really do lack utility to compete on 8-mans. Pluse albs are just that albs... they will be in high pop specially when hib is soo fotm right now.

By all means Roll what you think is fun, but don't roll to be a loner. I say play together and stick together as a guild whatever we do.

I like the sound of Alb better than Mid. But, someone needs to tell me what class to make either way. I'll play a cleric, or a Paladin on Alb, or a Shaman on Mid. I really don't care if I play.

Chubz is trying out different classes in alb now. I planned to roll a Friar, I think Hall was looking at a Heretic. Chubz might be a Pally. And I do know that Alb lacks alot when it comes to doing 8mans, but I don't think Mid will be in much better shape on the new server when 5 of their 8 slots have to be filled, four of them being with healers, two of those healers being subpar at actually healing.
