some things were coo, but ya some just straight whack y0.

Reagents for basic spells like Int buffs, and Teleportation? How lame, not to mention a hardly ever used at all Slow Fall... Those reagents have to be farmed off harpies and shit ;\

Warrior taunt is worthless, my shaman draws aggro from his rockbiter weapon, so I used taunt and he stopped attacking, I hit it once, then he started attacking again, WHAM aggro gone. Mythic must have poisoned their water.

Yeah, this last patch is pretty annoying.

Mage Neft:
Polymorph: Now dismounts the enemy target, increased the chance of breaking early.
Arcane Intellect: Ranks 4 and 5 now require reagents.
Teleport: Now requires a reagent.
Portal: Now requires a reagent.
Slow Fall: Now requires a reagent.

Priest Nerf:
Resurrection: No longer useable in combat.
Levitate will now be cancelled if any damage is taken, now requires a reagent.
Power Word: Fortitude: Ranks 4, 5, and 6 now require reagents.
Mind Control: Increased the chance of breaking early.
Shackle Undead: Increased the chance of breaking early


Shaman Nerf:
Rebirth: Renamed Ancestral Spirit, no longer useable in combat.
Water Walking: Now cancelled if any damage is taken, requires reagent.
Water Breathing: Now requires a reagent.

Warlock Nerf:
Target of summoning ritual must already be in the same instance if caster is in an instance.
Fear: Increased the chance of breaking early.

AND THE BIGGEST SUCK ASS CHANGE:

Seems like they removed this from the notes, but I swear it was there. Releasing from your corpse no longer gives you xp penalty but causes all your armor durability to hit 0%. Oh and dieing in general, even if you're rezzed, causes all your armor to lose %10 durability.

Now that's a shitty change right there, I don't care who you are. :huh:

OMG this is bad, just plain bad.

I will test in ST this week but it doesn't look good. Patches like this will make people think twice about buying WoW.

I think the waterwalking nerf needed to happen, especially for groups. This should be used as a form of travel, not a PvP tool near water based towns like SS, BB, and Ratchet like it was. There is nothing more frustrating than getting an Undead mage down to 2% health in two hits only to have him outrun you because you have to swim and he gets to run, then having him get far enough away from you to mount and ride off. Stuff like that is just absurd.

I think the biggest issue with this patch, is that Blizzard has been basing all of their content on the way things used to work, which involves being able to taunt multiple mobs and always having buffs up. A Priest in a 3 hour group is going to spend something like 3g on buffs. Every wipe loses you 10% of your armor's dur, that means after 10 pvp/pve deaths you just spent 10g in repairs, I seriously hope they get rid of some of that stuff before retail or I may not pick my copy up afterall. WoW is an awesome game, but seeing changes like this really makes me question the abilities of their inhouse testing team.

I think the reagent for buff thing is so mother fucking cocksuckers wont make this into World of Botcraft. Other than that Blizz got some time to get there shit together im pretty sure they will fix the 100% dur drop. But rem its not like DAOC DUR you can get it back for a fee. If whereyou died they have a Repair man then problem solved.

I cancelled my pre-order. This last patch made this game a joke IMO. I'll check it out after the holidays.

The problem is that as you level in this game, skills, items, mounts, all of these are money sinks. At level 26 I couldn't afford to upgrade one of my skills due to death penalties on equipment and poor selling ratio due to poor pack size. They will fix the pvp death issue, but if they don't fix the way taunt works in pve they need to rework all of the high end instances. Also, the reagent cost is absurd when you factor in that these buffs are on 30 minute timers, and will have to be done 3-6 times for any high end instance currently available, not counting wipes or deaths.

I honestly just don't know where Blizzard was trying to go with this last patch. They took out the exp hit you take for spirit rezzing (which is fine) but replaced it with a long duration rez illness and all of your wearable items drop down to 0% dur (even the shit in your pack). I'm sure the reason this was done was because there really was no penalty for dying before, and one really needed to be made (especially for level 60s) but at this point, there are just too many money sinks in the game for some people to want to do anything fun. I mean, why would I want to go to an instance where I might die 2-3 times, when I can easily solo mobs 2 levels below me and bring in just as much exp over time? I don't even think the Taunt issue would be an issue if the recast was moved down to something like 3 seconds and it actually gave you a complete boost in rage to add the difference in your hate and the highest players hate, then added in maybe 25% more hate so you could actually maintain the aggro for more than 2 hits. AE Taunt is now a requirement in this game if you plan on doing anything high level without having to pingpong mobs from one player to the next. All of you guys that haven't played yet won't even notice these changes because you haven't seen the way the game worked before. The game is still very playable and enjoyable, it's just no where near as controlable as it used to be. Sometimes that's fun, sometimes that's bullshit.
