It was down right impossible to follow what really was going on in that "Meeting" while you where there. Reading that chat log is mind numbing. I think we all learned to never do that again. I know I did.

My expectations where very high in hope to better the game somehow.

Disappointment is a part of life I suppose even in a video game. I sometimes get idea's that Midgard is different then it really is. Oh well I am wrong... That has happened before hehe.

Great thing about this game that you can't do in real life is: You can turn it off when you don't want to see it. And I am done watching it for a while.

It's the old off button for me for a while until we see some changes. Hard to log into a game that you truely don't enjoy. I know alot of you can relate with that. hehe I am sure I will be around from time to time feel free to shoot the breeze with me if you see me.

Oh!

You guys can talk to Songstress, Rigamortina or Elmo if you need some support beating those Albs back into the caves they came from. :) Zinxx will be around from time to time also when we are not saving the world in CoH.

I am not gone just resting. :) See ya around folks.

Granz, I'm really sorry to hear that you won't be around, but it's understandable since NF has caused a lot of upheaval in the game.

Kirt, I agree, the cg after the game really did have some great discussions.

Basically, the discussions in the cg focused on how to get Mids out RvRing and within that also work on some new RvR strategies for success.

There was a lot of discussion about how to get mids to work together better in the bg's. Everyone agreed that when someone is leading, you need to follow their orders w/o question. Respect for a leader is very important, and that hasn't been happening lately. Both leaders and followers are frustrated about this. We discussed ways to change that issue. Some suggestions were to run stricter bg's and kick people that aren't following and/or respecting the leader(s). We also discussed ways to involve more people in the bg in the action - for example, splitting the zerg as needed for scouting, clearing bridges, etc. As part of this we discussed having different leaders w/in the bg focusing on different areas (i.e. one leader leading the zerg, another leading scouts, etc.). This also led to a discussion of training more leaders so those that lead a lot don't feel like they have to lead every time they RvR, and would result in more leaders being available when needed.

All in all, the cg discussions were very productive. I for one hope we can all work together to make RvR fun again. Sure, Mythic needs to make some changes (ok, a lot) , but so do we. If we don't do something to get Mids to work together, we will continue to be frustrated. That's why I found the GM cg so productive, the only way we can bring about these changes is through leadership. Every GM and officer needs to stress to their guilds the importance of teamwork and respect. We can do this, we are Mids.
