VERY IMPORTANT: Releasing, Upgrading, Claiming

Ok I have found our bug in BWC for doing this.

Here's the download:

Any GL or officer with access can claim a fort as long as 1. He has access to do it, and 2. The group of 8 is at the lord room.

Only GL or rank 1 officers can UPGRADE forts to 1-10..Can perform solo.

ONLY RANK 1 OFFICERS can RELEASE forts..Can perform solo.

So if you need anyone to upgrade or release a fort, and they can do it solo, promote them to rank 1, and then lower their rank.

OK - i am in albieland, Mids just took back Bled and i promoted Cripp tp lvl2 (highest I can promote him) and he got help and claimed. Unfortunately, Rank 2 cannot upgrade, and I cant /gc edit 2 upgrade because I am not GM. My question is this, why gave a rank Claim ability w/out Upgrade ability? as it is, I must leave Beno which is going to need defending in about 45 seconds, and drag my 37 bot for END speed out there to upgrade. Is there any chance of Rank2 upgrade privelage?

Yea, that was quite frustrating for Rethl I'm sure. He had to promote me to highest he could, just so I could re-claim Bled after I whiped the 13 albs who somehow took it in the first place(with 0 cc and 1 shaman for a healer and only 1 death on my group.. they got so fucking owned by me) and retook it back with like 15 ppl. I must agree with Rethl upgrading and downgrading a keep should be given to Rank 2 guys as well because I could have done it on the spot... just my 2 cents ~.~

Problem:

Rank 2 and Rank 3 in BWC cannot claim, and will never be able too.

Its a bug in the game.

All officers should be promoted to rank 1.

Nothing we can do.

I think the problem is there aren't many "GM - rank 0" that can re-promote people back to rank 1 to claim, release, upgrade keeps.

hi boss - If Rank 2 and 3 were unable to claim in the past, then the bug has been fixed, as stated by chipplipnya. This being the case, shoulg you so choose, you now have the option to also give Rank2 Upgrade permission, that is, of course, assuming there isn't a Rank2 Upgrade bug.
