The relic temple is just a RP pharm IMHO, we had about 60 mids.

happened to me too gundorf we had 20 mids there stood there for 40 mins never moved. got an automatic email from mythic saying this is a known bug

Found out what happened from a hib friend in a PM, with the relic not dropping when Convicts were apart of the mids there. The relic was sitting in DC apparently, which I assume meant druim cain, cause I'm pretty sure we held crauchon.. Dunno how long for etc though, she was making fun of us and I'm still trying to get some details

maybe it didn't reset properly.. could anyone actually see the relic?

kord if you are talking about the time we stood on the pad with about 20 of us -- i saw the hibernia has returned the relic to the shrine message earlier that day, and i also saw the crown/whatever that was sitting on the top of the pillar so she cant have been holding it while we waited...

as for gundorf it takes 5 minutes for it to lower -- at least according to the herald, but im not sure if it means it takes that long for the pillar to move or that the pillar starts moving when enuf ppl are in the temple and it takes 5 minutes to hit the ground

Not to break up everyones useless pharm post but...

IMO the strength relics need to be redone. I posted this on VN and now everyone is throwing ideas out there on how to do it. Finbar asked if Mid was going to target a strength relic and I said most likely not. One thing all realms can agree on are in NF strength relics are useless. Power relics are ALL that matters now.

How about strength relics giving bonus to Lift and siege as well as melee dmg? Lifter would really be nice in the new NF landscape IMO ~

I think melees are TOTALLY gimped in NF.

Thus... Midgard is totally gimped.

They need to fix something to make melees useful. honestly there is no real reason to have a melee in your group. except maybe a skald, and that is just stupid. I believe melee is the largest played type of class so it makes no sense for Mythic to ruin gameplay for them. Once again.. Great idea, but bad execution.
