about Veturi

Well, I'll post something about Veturi and Natraz and rest can perhaps fill the holes and make up more story.

Veturi is an old guild, which I think was founded first in EQ. I was never in EQ, so can't really know anything about that time, but they are still active there.

The DAoC establishment of Veturi started in Mid/Merlin in the first days, can't remember the exact dates, but the servers hadn't been up for very long when we arrived.

Veturi doesn't have tight rule or organization as it mainly consists of people that know each other well in RL. Most of Veturi players have played other online games like the infamous BatMUD, which is 14 year old online game and still kicking with over 400 simultaneous players every day.

But the founder of Veturi in Mid/Merlin is Natraz, and the rest are more or less with Rank 0 with few exceptions on the newly recruited people. So we have more a conclave or counsil or whatever you want to put it, that decides things. There is no one that has supreme power in Veturi or if someone claims we can go kick his ass next time in bar ;)

Most of Veturi live in Helsinki/Finland, but we have few additional people from Germany and U.S.

Other Online Games our bunch of people have visited as guild are Shadowbane (short visit, lacked content), SWG (short visit, lacked content, but there might still be some who play it). Also we have lost some of our number to Hib/MLF where the treehuggers got sucked to easier and more powerful classes (may they burn in eternal flames!). As individuals you can find experience in Veturi from I'd say almost every MMORPG you can think of.

Oh, most of us are working in the IT business (with few exceptions, like Ravagee who is a carpenter and earns more than any of us, gurr!)

Well spoken my mate! Dont have really anything to add.

Strong part in veturi is that we really dont have any leader. There is quite a few guys who can take over raid and lead it from end to start.

Veturi name was first founded in Everquest/fennin ro where i was playing few years after Ultima Online. It was orginally based on real life friends like daoc guild in merlin is atm. Our guild mascot whos from US littiepaw shes been with us since everquest veturi was founded. And we wouldnt be guild if we wouldnt have one crazy dorf from germany A.K.A Ugrosch/Wusel. I think rest of active players are atm from Finland.

Pretty much the same things goes with Drunk Butchers. I.e. even though we have a rank system, we usually don't have one or two persons deciding what will be going on etc. DB has been in alliance with Veturi as long as I can remember (I moved from Daoc Euro servers to Merlin about 1,5 years ago).

We are currently all Finns, but we will resort to English if there is absolutely no way we can get the message through in Finnish

There are a few persons that have the highest rights, like claiming, promoting and such. So if for some reason you want to contact them here's a list of the people (DB guys, fill the list up if I forgot something):

We're happy to join this alliance. Since we are quite a small guild, we haven't really been able to establish a decent presence in RvR. But now in this alliance we can make a difference .

About events.

Practically veturi can run any PVE event needed. There aint single mob standing in merlin that we havent killed and dont know how to do it.

Also if you need euro time keep taking etc we are pretty efficient in that. Just send our crazy couple phyros and ugrosch to alb frontier and they will 2 man any keep ya need
