Fraps: Computer graphics help needed

Well, one thing I need (which I can't do myself) is a logo for BWC.

I am absolutely terrible with photoshop/paintshop pro when it comes to original from scratch content. So I know some of you guys are pretty good with it and I'll leave it up to you guys.

What I was thinking, was a flat hexagon, with a border around the edges. Inner texture to be leathery (similar to the Buckers/Block shields). The color should be the BWC Royal Red on the top half, and White in the bottom half. In the middle, a circular (raised sphere?) object with the Skull logo from our cloak.

In addition, in some metalic font, it should say Blood (skull) Winter and below it, Clan. Caps/spacing, etc up to artist's discretion.

Thats just my idea for it. If there is a better one or a premade one, I could use that instead. The one for the forum sucks ;p

ya... noone would come up with an image of a reasonable size ..

hell... noone really even bothered coming up with an image... so until then, you'll have to stick with the sucky one...

Where did you pull it from and would we be safe in regard to copy right?

Do you mind posting it on a public board like VN for feedback? Of course well get some trolling flames but there will also be usefull feedback.

edit: hey bulor, I think the skull is slightly turned. Like 1-2 degress counter clockwise off. That or its the stuff in the background around the middle. Looks good regardless though

How exactly does Fraps work? Is it a program that runs in the background and just captures the video to your hard drive? That seems like it might lag your pc up.

as for copyright, no worries there.. aslong as things are edited... you don't have to worry about any form of copyright issues.

like fonts, images, blah blah blah there are ways to work aroud copyright =).

the only thing that might be an issue of just a guilt.. is the white trible circle in the BG, which if we do end up feeling guilty form can be changed into a tribel looking tattoo type image.

as for the skull, just a random baby skull from a skullwebsite..

the shield in the back.. just a shield from a musem...

as for the horns.. just some horns from a dear i think.

as for the font.. it's a font we use at the office, but one you 'create outlines" for it in illustrator.. it basiclly counts as self made art. thus bypassing the font bureo.
