It's a loss regardless. (bear with me, I'm going to ramble a little here)

We could always count on MDoM to leave their PVE & crafting to come help defend, or to come on our raids if we made a call for it. They were always willing to claim and usually had enough guild bounty points they didn't have to leave their keeps at level 1. When they had a homeland keep claimed, that increased the chances that our guild would be notified quickly when homeland was invaded rather than relying on the Myth alliance to always inform us. When keep doors or relic needed repairing, Nolaex could always be counted on to do it if she was around. Some of my friendships are based on loyalty, and personally I think MDoM earned some of that more than some guild members I could name. Of course some of you haven't dealt much with them so couldn't give a shit.

That said, I won't miss that whiney Wazzup asshole at all. My guess is that he can be no older than 16 based on his immature hysterical reactions in the past. But Svoda, Gil, Bums, and others from MDoM could always be counted on in the past, and to me that counts for something.

We are down to ONE active guild besides ourselves - Ascendancy. Every other guild in the alliance has like 1 or 2 active players. Don't get me wrong, I like Gnik from Combine, and Larelaith from Midnight Fury, and Majesticone but those are all nearly 1 or 2 people guilds now. At least MDoM had people.

So now when we shout over alliance that we are going to raid albion and to bring rams - our message gets out to about 9 people besides our own guild. Yep, thats going to make a difference!

Now get this, because I think this is important and I think some of you posturing youngsters striking an attitude just don't get it:
Our guild is stronger if our alliance is strong. The more good guilds we have with good RVR players, the more we can accomplish.
We get more warning on homeland stuff.
We get more intel on emain stuff.
When we want to do a relic raid we don't need to rely so much on Drutt/Coloth to accomplish it.
If we treat alliance members like they are just lucky to be able to hang with us, we are effectively driving all the good guilds over to the Drutt/Coloth alliance, and then we need to deal with those idiots more often rather than being self sufficient.

None of this was a commentary on the Modern shit. Personally I think wazzup is a dick and overreacted. But it's how we react to the alliance and how we treat people outside of guild. When you guys say fuck off to the world, it affects our effectiveness...

Hehe, Joshll always gets fired up over the alliance blowouts. I have to agree with him though, half the guilds are under a half dozen active gamers. Furthermore on the subject, you guys may want to take a look at F and CQ. F is no more and Godorn only has his alts in CQ. TDA now has his main tagged. Just my 2 cents. I respect your opinion Joshll but I disagree that MDoM is a huge loss. There is no arguing it is a loss but huge...no. If you guys want to rebuild your alliance you are going to need to take a look at guilds that are performing now.

I believe Super wanted 4-5 RvR ACTIVE guilds and was going to try to keep the alliance small. Much as Wyrd had theirs set up.

BTW, you may lose Combine once Deyth comes back to Merlin. They are playing here and Galahad but seem to be focused on Galahad more for the time being. This is simply speculation, but I am not sure their egos will allow them not to be an /as lead ~

Well who do we want?

Love to get Wyrd back, but don't see it happening.

Who else?

EO, IDE50, Danish Einhwhatever - But I think they are all more loyal to Myth alliance than they should be

Wyrd - but I doubt it will happen, and unless Dawgma stays, I'm not so sure I'm all that confident in Finch's leadership skills. Also, they've been pretty flakey at running off in the middle of relic raids and stuff. Maybe they'll be different with Dawgma back

Divinity?

Let's work on all of them and see what we can do.

Please post here what we find out.
