I'll be on.off during the holidays.

Once I get my DSL up this weekend, I will be on/off during the holidays and starting these gank groups.

After Jan 5 I am FT Merlin.

One thing that we seem to have problems with in hib lance running a 8 man gank group is the god damned alb SoS. With all mele there really is nothing you can do to combat it... well nothing we have been able to do againsn't high RR albs that know what they are doing. Was talking to some LoR and the solution they came up with is run with one pbae, when albs SoS they fall back to the PBAE and they find it works fairly well. I'm not suggesting ya change your group make up, I'm just trying to give ya some advance warning of what you are gona face in the 8v8 gank groups.

Strangely though, I'm not sure there are any regular alb gank groups on Merlin that know how to use it. With a midgard 2-3 healer melee group, I'd say we beat any good alb group 3/4 of the time if they are truly good, otherwise 9/10. The only time I really recall losing to albs here on Merlin is when we were trying to get by with a single healer which just doesn't work.

I guess I just thought that was the norm. I'll believe you that a good alb group can be tough, but we've never seen it here. I guess I always thought albs were gimps.
