we played last night, and people want to give it a try starting next Monday and see.

Others are still sticking with Mord, or going back and forth, especially over the next week.

8 man is viable in New Frontiers, Desolate does very well on Merlin. But it's a whole new deal, these albs zerg very fast. They usually start responding before flames go up, and once flames are up 4g-10g will be inc depending on target. Teleport has made speed zerging easier.

But we can still have fun running in a good group. We need to be:

* Mobile and don't stick around enough for zerg to find us. Speed 6 is a must.
* If we are going to hit a tower, we need to be incredibly fast in Albion. I would say we'd need the 2nd or 3rd ram upgrade. A simple siege ram isn't going to be fast enough. Hitting it with swords and hammers will definately not be fast enough and some stealther will get in and pour oil within a few min.

I've done alot of Tower farming with MDoM the last month, and Surs 4 is the best farm if you can be quick enough. Albs can port right back to Bold and they will keep pouring back over the bridge. Surs 3, Bold 3, and Hurb 4 are the easier to take as it will take them longest to respond.

As far as Midgard, most small group action will take place near Glen. The bridges are always stealther camped and solo/duo sorcs & minstrels with a buddy. The alb 8man squads love to play hit and run around glen as those are the docks usually used by mids. Ganking from the albs teleport point as they are inc to Glen is good too.

I have never been an enthusiast of the more obscure holidays like “Groundhog Day.” This type of holiday made more sense long ago when Doppler radar was not available and faith in groundhogs was stronger.

Yah Im always down for these groups. In fact I miss them. I have been running with convicts at night and we are pretty much unbeatable. We camp the alb docks hib docks and they just feed us rps all night. Of course this is late night action and no huge zergs around.

This is alot of fun there are places to 8man and there are places to camp we just need to find them. My skald is fully rvr ready and been kicking ass out there. If im on ill be down for these groups. Problem is with the wife aggro...lol

Docks and bridges are good because you can kill a million albs and not make it on radar for the noobs zerg to know where to go :D
