Guild Housing- Location, Location, Location

Postby Eirene » Wed Jun 25, 2003 8:21 am

I know some people think Housing is gay and we shouldn't be wasting money on fluff when we could be using it for other things like Relic Doors. I agree. However, a Guild House symbolizes posterity and prestige, and as leader of the greatest alliance and the best rvr guild on Mid Merlin, we should have at least a place to symbolize our power and reputation.

Please review the following choices. Yesterday Law, Finch and I strolled around all three zones looking for a decent lot.

Refer to Housing Foundations Map on the Herald for the locations in the different zones.

Myth alliance has staked claim to Jervaulx in Erikstaad. Its close to Tingtong's house. Kinda funny when they told everyone to get off their land. :P
The message buck stops here.

i don't know where any of those places are :P so i'll just say near tingy's house too because it doesn't seem like a hastle to find. after almost 200 play days on my albs i still get lost running from cotswold to castle sauvage

simplicity is a good thing :P

Well, as many of you know I will be setting up my own shop for my Spellcrafting and Celestrials Armorcrafting.

I won't be building anywhere near Tings house regardless of close to zone. Reasons why, well... His house looks great but that lot is dull looking. No real scenery or anything much around it. Once you have your place up it's insanely easy to get there. All you have to do is type in the following command.

Example: Going to Tings house from entrance. He lives on lot 1760.

Command: /houseface 1760 ** This will face you right at his house **

Now you simply hit your autorun key and wallah! You are there in no time. I myself will be setting up shop right next to a horse merchant that can be reached from main gate merchant. To get to my SC shop people will be able to hitch a horse in my direction and jump at my house just before they arrive at the horse stables.

I ran around last night for 2 hours testing routes and looking for lots with some pizazz so to speak. I saw one that Law I guess liked which was pretty nice. It sat up on a small hill and looked down over a lake. It also had a nice smith shop right next door. I think that was the one in Birkwith.

Anyway, once my house is up and running and my shop is setup and business booming it will be nice. I was going for a lot right next to where Myth is building their house/mansion which Drutt is currently holding for me with Alts supposibly, but I honestly think I found better last night running around.
