It's kind of lame how they just take pre exsisting weapons' stats and just double them or add a chance to crit, or a few more +damage on them and call it a day. That being said some of that shit is hawt

Well said Kandar and I could not agree more. I do like the PvP upgrades and stat changes (example adding Agil to warrior PvP gear) but for the most part there are few changes...just upgrades.

I have a 49 twink warrior and an almost full epic Warlock (by far my most geared toon currently) and I admit if anything needs a nerf atm it's Soul Link locks. I am currently conflag build but played demonology for months. I can talk on the phone and eat dinner while dueling any class but well geared hunters or other locks and hardly have to put any effort into the fight. Fear locking and 3k Soulfire crits are fotm and make a much more dangerous toon then my mage ever was.

At least on a warrior I require a semblance of tactics and have to adjust to the enemy class and situation. IMO warriors do not need a nerf. Especially with issues like having to collect and carry so much shit around and spec 'protection' for end game raiding then respec 31/20 (or something close to that) for front PvP burst damage. Warriors have far more issues then I ever had on my Mage or Warlock.

The plan was to cap him and start collecting several sets of shinny goods but I'm just not interested in doing that again. I think I'm going to collect the PvP tier 1.5 gear. He's currently legionnaire and I'll just go as far as 8 hours a day can take me. WL and HWL weapons are out of the question. My buddy had a HWL come into the Gamestop he works and told him the exact same thing you read on the wow forums. 4-6 weeks of 16 hour days for WL and then have the toon running as long as WSG is going (usually 2 people splitting time) AFKing out of turtle games rolling un geared pugs and all that happy shit. Sounds gay as hell.

I know monty just recently got HWL and the way they've been doing it is they set a cap on how much honor everyone close to him can get, once they cap out they aren't allowed to gain anymore honor to ensure that he gets hwl without having to bleed out his eyes. It's still a hell of a grind i'm sure but as long as you have a set team and the cap rule in it's doable if you have extra time over the summer or w/e

That's how the Farm teams do it on Gurubashi as well.

my buddy cyce is going for HWL right now. he's in a farm group and they try to have caps, but people have been f'ing them lately (like guys who pvp non stop and won't agree to the cap).

i'm happy just farming epics the easy way by doing raids.

i got a epic'd out druid and priest atm, and i think c'thun is gonna go down either this week or next (we got him to phase 2, and have gotten him into a weakened state once, so the hard part is over).

if anyone want to play around with my priest, let me know. i'm paying for him right now, but a few officers in my guild are kinda mad at me dual boxing druid + priest in instances, so i can't do it anymore, and i already only play like 3-4 hours a day max (i login at raid time, log off when the raid ends), so i'm having a hard time keeping the priest geared (mostly MC+ZG epics.. maybe around +600-700 healing?).

i still play my druid 4-5 days outta the week (he's the one in the T2+AQ set) so no go on that

lol ya i know all about the warlock overpowered crap blizzard has a thing with nerfing ( fixing ) warriors every patch tho =/ the better weaps get the more chances we have of getting bitch slapped by blizz =/



and i got to champ and dropped back to rank 6 after i realized just how long it would take me to get to hwl and ya if you don't have a farm groups it's 16 hrs a day freakin day for months i don't think i know a single hwl that has made it there without someone else playing their toon also to help because of the huge timesink.

you have a better chance of getting fully decked out with awsome weaps doing pve raids in less time =/ hopefully they change the honor system alot in a better way

Yeah no way I can get to like GM (Grand Marshal) or HWL on my server. I barely pvp due to Alliance major sucking in pvp on Archimonde. Besides that, everyone has their own "farm" or "trading wins" groups.

So yeah, I'm all for farming the epics the pve way. Currently I'm in a "newer" MC/BWL guild --where they are just learning the strats for BWL and MC on farm status (which I like because I'm re-learning the strats). I had an offer to join a BWL farm guild back when I hit 60 but I felt like I wasn't going to learn anything other than bored people trying to get epics. I guess more or less I'd like to be with a raid group trying something new and the "excitement" of the players, than the players who have done it all and seen it all. I have 6/8 Tier 1 and 2/8 Tier 2 on druid; my acquired priest has 3/8 Transcendence, Some Prophecy and AV/AB Exalted armor/trinkets.

However, I might be switching guilds because I can't stand their gay-ass brokeback drama between 2-3 Alliance guilds -- sorta reminds me of BWC on Merlin back in the day. Basically it stems from "I forgot to defend your base" in SWG like 2-3 years ago, but most of the people still hold that grudge. I'm about to say F*** you and your guild--I'm taking my druid and priest somewhere else....ah its good to vent it all out.

Now I remember why I left WOW.

I read these posts and it seems people are not playing a game but working a job.

WOW was a lot of fun, its too bad the pvp system was not what I wanted.
