Still need Tartaro's staff after PN fix (nerf) ?

I just read the SM class boards that many people are frustrated as too how hard it is to kill main mob (forgot name) for Tartaro's staff. Here's a suggestion.

After spending some time in Modern, we tried the PN pull method. Didn't work. Not realising the nerf (didn't read the patch notes), I dropped a Stormlord ML ability, the endurance suppression storm. As of yesterday, the End storm does pull mobs. So, maybe all that is needed before they "fix" it again is a char with ML4 stormlord completed. Have him duo with a skald and collect the aggro.

I'll help if someone is interested. I'd like to see if it works. And yes, I have the staff, and I'm a stormlord.


P.S. When "I" dropped the End storm, all aggro from the redcaps was directed to me. Just like the PN method.

P.S.S. I almost posted this on VN, but I wanted to give the guild a chance to get this staff, if this method works.

Better yet, give me some 25% cast speed items to borrow for a bit ;p

Me and Nese are gonna respec Linia to MW3. Could problably solo tartaros.

Did this the other day with 7...took all of about 30 seconds. How?

1 LvL 50 MW3 chanter (me)
1 LvL 50 MW2 mana eld (me running as bot)
2 lvl 50 druids (moc+rp)
1 lvl 50 bard
1 lvl 50 warden
1 lvl 50 bm (although hero woulda been better)

...we all charged up (bm first), 1 druid fired off grp insta, popped MW on both chars and moc on chanter and pbaed like mad (salamanders + priest)...druids insta'ed, moc'ed, rp'ed...etc...etc...we died because salamanders kept comming, but not before the priest died and we looted =D

We did it before PN got nerfed. Skald + convoker laid down PN in their own group and ran for town. Others rushed priest and zera MW'd. Killed it before we knew what was happening.

Heard cripp solo'd it with MW.
