HD fat32 question

I have to upgrade my ps3 hd pretty soon but ps3 will only recognize external hd's if they're formatted to fat32. It's my understanding windows wont do it in big enough sizes. The only thing I have read is you can format an 80gb hd to fat32 with a mac but nothing larger then that. Anyone know a way to format to fat32 in windows and preferably larger then 80g? I see guys with Terri-byte HD's and can't figure out how they do it. Thanks in advance tech peeps.

first google link I came up with:

http://www.online-tech-tips.com/compute ... to-fat-32/

never did anything like that, so can't say how it works.

Yea bro wtf? This format seems like an inconvenient piece of shit. I have been unable to find any other way to link an external to a PS3 though.

This keeps on getting worse. Command prompt issues. It goes to 99% then says drive to big. I'm downloading a program called Swissknife and crossing my fingers.
