Picking up a 28" Hanns-G from newegg and think I'm going to need more video memory for 1920X1600+ resolutions..

I already have a 8800GTS 320Mb, so picking up another is only $279.99 upgrade.. but will have to spring another $200-300 for a Nvida 680i board; or I can sell the single card I have now and pickup a 640MB GTX and still keep my Asus P5k P35chipset board (Intel6420 2.13Ghz @3.5Ghz)
Anyone using SLI now with large resolutions? Is it Bonerville?
8800 GTS 320MB 680I SLI or 8800GTX 640MB Single....

The visual gains on high resolutions is noticeable. My cousin is running 2 x 8800 640mb GTS cards and its currently flooring any game he plays at max settings, spare a few nutcase settings like Antisoph X16Q ect.
Contemplating going SLI myself, but, new appartment comes first and my computer can still run alot of the newer games at reasonable settings.

Will be upgrading to SLI over the course of the next month or two.
Just ordered the new PSU
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6817153053
And sometime next month i'll order in the Asus 8800GTS 320mbit and SLI bridge.
On another topic, just got a free processor upgrade from the fellas who lives in the appartment above me. AMD X2 6000+(3.0GHZ) for free.
He wanted a quad system because he does alot of heavy duty programming and art work on his pc and the system wasn't really cutting it anymore, so he asked, i accepted. Will probabbly get a new CPU cooler instead of the stock one that came with my 4600+.
happy times are near!
