PC picture time(no naked girls involved sadly)

Postby TrollFunk » Sun Aug 12, 2007 5:02 am

Was fooling around with some wires and installing a my new HD, so while the PC was naked, i thought i'd post some pictures of the creature i've had in hibernation under my bed for the last 6 months.

Image

The top HD is my old HD. Its a 200GB 7.200rpm Seagate Barracuda.

The one beneath is the new(old) HD. Its a 250GB 7.200 Seagate Barracuda.

The big mofo block in the middle of the motherboard is the 8800 GTS 320mb card(yes, it looks like a fucking brick).

Beneath it, is a fan that helps releave the 8800 of the hot air, very usefull.

Beneath that fan is my X-fi Soundblaster(a must have for music lovers)

Image

The Motherboard is a MSI K9N SLI with AM2 socket.

Processor is a AMD 4600 X2 (2.4ghz)

The big blue thing in the back is a 120mm fan(oh, you already did know that eh?, con-fucking-grats, now go see the sun).

Image

Memory is 4 blocks of 1g Corsair 5300mhz.

I know, amateur wireing, but meh.

Image

80mm Fan on top

Image

Air filter for CPU air draw.

Plexiglass side panel.

Image

The mofo is alive!.

....

And ofcourse, the gaming station.

Samsung 226BW 2ms 22'inch LCD.

Speakers are Creative Inspire 5.1 system.

8mb/1mb broadband feed and soon to come - TV tuner

Nice system man!

Now all you need is a MMO to play :/

Sad part is the Video Card costs more then the CPU, Memory, Motherboard these days..

Well, you can get the Intel extreme(ly expensive) edition procs for around $1000+... They're just upping the price of their highest end products... simply because people will pay for them
