7.1 * 2?

:D Yello.


So somehow i now got 2 sets of 7.1 and i only use once

does anyone know if its possible to use a 2nd 7.1 on the same soundsystem?

This is what i want, i want one set in my living room and one set spredout over the rest rooms, bedroom kitchen and bathroom.

any1? :D

There are some receivers that can do this, but most of the more affordable ones will only let you do stereo to both sets at the same time. This is because it would need 14 amplifiers for the channels to each speaker... You might be able to find one with a preamp output for the second set, but you'd need an amplifier for it

It will sound weird anyway (if you use the surround sound), because you'd only here certain sets of sounds in certain rooms... Especially the center channel, where most of the voices will come from.

Buy a second receiver, then use an audio out from the first receiver to the second one. Preferably something preamp.

If you do do this, be careful, since if you send out amplified signal from the first receiver to the second, you could potentially do something really really bad.

heh im going to fix it somehow :D

just got a new apartment il get some pics soon,

2* 7.1 system, new 42" LCD screen and some other shit :D
