Yea gotta love it. Your computer will always remain ~75% idle while you game. Yipee!

Hopefully one day games will start making use of multiple threads.

It's mostly because they've found that there are gamers that will spend any amount of money just to have the fastest system. The idea of upping the quantity only makes sense, as people will buy it.
