Isn't than AMD FX60 bitch the hotest thing out there now?

I need a new box soon ... I have to run Oldblivion to play Oblivion my damn box is toooo slow.

The extra core would definately outweigh the .2 ghz.

Not because it's really faster, but it can help deal with all the other stuff while you play your game. You can actually leave stuff open while you play :bigups:

I'm not a big fan of multiple cores, but the industry is moving there, and there isn't anywhere else to go. They've hit a barrier with driving the ghz up, so lets add more cores and useless features!

It will be very helpful if the gaming industry ever catches up to multiple threads, which I do believe is the way to go.

That's my opinion anyway. :D

Latest and greatest, the AMD FX-62 (2.8 ) if im not mistaking...

thanks everyone, i went with the dual core and it handles wow very well. barb was right I can open additional apps while on wow with out a single delay. Hell my virus prot can scan in the background and I can't tell a difference.

Well this isn't exactly accurate if you count the IBM/Georgia Tech 500GHz transistor claims.
