Sound Card?

I was forced to Format last night, everything is back up except i have no sound. The speakers are plugged in etc and when i find the sound properties under control panel it says 'no device'
help me guys

did you install the drivers for your sound card.

Also what OS are u using? I think for win 2k, win 98 and win 95 u have toi install the mobo chipset drivers for sound.

I figured it out, i had forgotten that my soundcard was toast and i was formally running on the motherboard card.
I just had to install the drivers for motherboard and i was fine

Wheres a good place to get motherboard drivers?...bout 1 of the only things i havent got yet:p

Your best bet is the mobo's manufactuers website. If u have a via chipset the got to viaareana.com
