Ok my computer's been freezing up alot and shit, so today i boot up and i none of my programs work, when i click a shortcut or when i go into the program file it says "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Folder Options control panel."

Wtf does that mean?

Edit: when i go to the program files on the hard drive, and right click and run ass i can run programs, but with daoc it says that patch.bin encounted a problem.

Also i have a system restore cd that i put in and it starts while the computer boots up, but my D Drive isn't reading, any ideas?

do you have 2 HD in your machine?

are all your programs and games installed on the 2nd one?

have you recently kicked your machine around a bit?

if so,, open your case and check if there is a loose cable from the MB to the HD.

What version of Windows are you running?

xp, its fixed now, i just reformatted
