Saw this at a 50% discount at the local PC shop yesterday, and me not buying anything without getting some background info around the item first have sought to ask the tech monkeys if this is a Super/Good/Decent/Bad/Suckey/Waste of money card.

Comments!.... :D

How much memory does it have and who is the manufacturer of the card unless it is direct from GF. You would be better off with a ti 4600 but a 4200 is an ok card but not the best. if it is 50% off too you might want to ask why it is so cheap. What is the total cost of the card?

The box says its a 3D Blaster Geforce4 Titanium 4200 64mb DDR memory 500mhz AGP TC DVI card. Card is from creative altho im abit cunfused seing that there is a small Nvidia trademark on the box also.

The price is cut in half cause the owners of the PC shop apparently wants to get rid of it for other products.

Normal price tag was 2800 kr, its now 1400kr. (kr being the danish currency. 1$ = 8,50kr). And seing that my ol Geforce 3 128mb daytona 200 card has not preforming too good after a good three years of hard gaming, i figure its time for a change. 8)

umm...

1400 kr / 8.5 = $164 for a GF4 Ti4200 64mb?
that's a horrible deal.
