Sounds good bro, Zera's guild votes today and I'll pass it on once it's known. Good luck on the move. I thought you were already in DC?

I'm in a staging move in Bristow right now, we are either moving into the city or to Fairfax just outside of it or something within the next couple of weeks.

Please give me an exact number of how many people are coming. Are you guys looking to join the guild or just roll on the same server. Let me know so I can handle accordingly. Also note at this point what ever server people roll on with the exception of like 2 will be full very quick so please be ready to deal with queues:

I don't know how many people are coming; for the start up we will just roll on the same server until our population of players stabilizes, then if we want to join the guild I either have everyone app individually, or I will put in a joint application. I still think Gates of Madness or Fort Aspenwood look the best of the medium populated servers. Sorrow's Furnace is a definite no for me, regardless of who wants to roll there. Crystal Desert is a new possibility, though two of the largest guilds are Brazilian. I'm assuming that TA is going to pick a server with a smaller populace since they are bringing large guilds, and a server with fewer alliances, so that they have more complete control over the WvW aspect of the game. Their alliance is one of the largest I've seen on that site.

The only alliance that I see that may have more people (hard to tell since TA has no numbers listed for its guilds) would be the spanish alliance on Sorrow's Furnace.

The email has been sent. I told everyone to roll Gates of Madness, though whether or not they will all listen to me is another story. I also told them they could app at your guild's website and tell them that they know you from DAoC, AoC, Aion, War, WoW, or whatever, and they should be able to get into the guild easily enough. I don't know if anyone will apply to the guild just yet, and that's okay as long as we're on the same server, but when the guys start flaking out, I'm sure Scott, Sean, and I will be apping at the very least.

Gates of Madness it is?
I just read that that's the unofficial pinoy server :D
Not sure if that matters but may have a lot of tagalog spam msg :D

Wwill be in with a few RL friends from SG :)
We will do the keep protection when u guys sleep wahahaha

However, need to check the ping as well.

Have we explore Crystal Desert?
Reason for saying this is cause SGers seem to be populating that...

Sounds good, I'll pass that along and will see everyone Friday. I'm assuming we are going straight out to WvWvW Friday?

I didn't see anything on the guild list that would have led me to believe that GoM would be an unofficial pinoy server upon the last inspection of the guilds, but if it is one, then that's not necessarily a bad thing for us. The timezone difference (assuming they are actually connecting from an Asian timezone) would prevent us from seeing the vast majority of them, and since their prime time would be during our primary downtime, it would likely be hard for the oceanic guilds to roflstomp us in the middle of the night, like they seem to love to do.

Ya Twyst straight for defending our land! I may actually sPvP for an hour or so when the servers go live because I still can't decide between longbow warrior or longbow ranger:p GoM ftw

I wouldn't sPvP to determine a class for WvW. I think the ranger is way better in sPvP than it is in WvW. I decided to split my WvW time between a thief and a warrior. I really like the way the thief plays for some reason, even though it dies easier than either the ranger or the warrior.
