I stopped playing WAR ...

Postby Eirene » Mon Nov 10, 2008 8:28 am

I stopped playing WAR probably a month ago.

Being in beta so long...took out the fun of the game from me. WAR itself needed more work. There's nothing that hooks the gamer to play long periods of time, unlike WOW. In WoW I was an epic queen -- raiding used to be my life. Now I probably won't play the expansion...

Work is so insane right now w/the Alltel merger. I find myself in different parts of the country every week. I mean I seriously tried to play on a laptop...and it doesn't work out.

Lately I've been playing Gears of War 2 on XBOX 360 (thank you microsoft for the 3 ring of death and giving us a new HD 360). I'm around...but I'll see you guys in another game in a few months.
The message buck stops here.

Anyone still playing WAR?. Got a a key from my cousin who bought Battleforge when it came out. Apparently anyone who bought the game get a free ingame item so he gave me the key for the item, but since i don't play the game anymore, i was wonder if anyone still played at all and if they wanted the key?.

Sure do got two 40's on Skullthrone and a soon to be 40 tank on Volkmar.
Great action continually on both servers and I just love the Warhammer lore.

If you wanna pas that key on Funk I'll use it bro. :toothy10:

I'm still playing as well. Over on Skull Throne, I have a rr 62 Squig Herder who Elf knows very well :P

I may be moving to Dark Crag as Skull Throne is over run with Order and it's been that way for too long now.

Good God no. Beta was alright but the burn out factor was quick.

The game has completely changed Twystd...RvR has been completely revamped and leveling has been sped up.

And this is the first game I have actually enjoyed the endgame PvE in also go figure. :toothy10:

Yea I agree with elf. Anyone who hasn't played since beta should give it another shot. I'm having alot more fun with it now then I did at launch.

I've also heard that guilds actually do 6v6 on ST. They pick a spot to fight in IRC.

i might give it a shot again. I've been sitting at home just applying for jobs, so it has been pretty boring. Might fall back into playing a mmo for a bit. So skullthrone is a good server to check out, which side? If I started up again, any guilds out there available?
