Just had my level 70 paladin stolen... Just recieved an email saying that my character transfer was successful.

And the account has been frozen and unplayed for a 16 months

I had no idea you could transfer off of closed accounts.

I am not really that worried about it, as I have quit wow along time ago. The toon had nothing of value anyway.

I do have the account name that it went to, and I suppose I could force the issue if I feel fiesty. I had bought the character when it was level 60 way back when, so this is not really that suprising.

The whole thing is more funny than anything, I don't fell any loss here

Maybe wait a month or so then try getting the account back. It's possible it could come back to you all geared and everything.
