I know I'm on here with a different MMO every month (last month was fury) anyways I just bought Tabula Rasa and I'm having fun with it so far. If you end up getting it, start on cassiopea so we can play together.

grrr... too many games as it is!
With Daoc and EQ2 my time is completely filled. Plus from what I briefly saw it was a FPS mmo? I was never a fan of Planetside. I know the lead designer had a interview in maximum PC a month ago and he was all "Think outside the box" but he wants to take away what makes a mmo a mmo. He really was in right field somewhere with some of his ideas.

No FPS about it really. If it was I would be playing. Just an RPG with guns and a bit different mechanics, nothing exciting unfortunatly. You have to point at your target and can break LoS, but it's all back to skill rolls if you hit/damage you do, etc.
Plus, PVP is (again) a complete after thought. It was a no PVP game for a while, then they decided to add it some, with plans to expand it later.
Didn't enjoy the beta really.

All I can say is I can't wait to see Guild Wars 2. and thx for the incite candide I think the only way i'll probably even touch this game is with a free trial.

Most games I've played are fun at level 10... Level 20 is when it starts to grind a bit, and by level 30, I'm usually bored.
Though it's usually because all my friends quit

Yeah I don't expect to keep playing past the first month... unless it keeps getting better. For now its different enough from other MMOs to hold my interest.

Playing with D on cassiopia server, level 17 now. Surprisingly I'm really enjoying the game. I have never played a FPS mainly because I don't have the hand eye coordination required, possibly due to the large amounts of marijuana I consume daily but i digress.
It plays more like a mmo than a fps if you ask me and I am really likeing the questing/expiing so far. Typically you'll be killing 4-5 mobs at a time and it take a good amount of strategy to pick the right weapon/ability for the job.
Dunno about the PVP but I joined a PVP the other day and should get a taste for it this weekend. If anyone is bored and looking for something different to play my last toons name is Bloodwinter.
