They took out pvp ranks when they changed the honor system, i'm not sure if you can get any ranks unless you had one before the patch. Also I think you do need to buy the wsg tabard. Before it was a reward you could buy at exalted rep but I don't know how that's handled now since they removed reputations for stuff, it might just have a honor cost now I don't know for sure.

ya i saw the warsong tabard for like 60 of those things u get just for being in the bg. Which sucks, cuz you get honor a lot faster than those things.

I've got a ton of pvp tokens, friggin honor is waaaaay harder to accumulate.

This should point you into the rewards section for each BG thats costs honor. But remember there is also Warlords Armor at 60 which isn't on this list. You can go to the halls of heroes to buy it. I dunno where you can find a list of it though.

doing a little leveling on a gnome rogue now, but my trial runs out friday. Hunter sure is a lot easier to level.

First off do not roll a shaman. They are uber between 20 & 40 but when they are 60 they arent all that. My 60 shaman didnt start being effective in PvP until I got all of my High Warlord gear.

The new honor system is great but it still is a grind to get the gear. Doing things optimally without an org team to run with you can earn about 500-600 honor an hour doing AV on non Holidays. To get everything you want you need about 200k. That comes to around 300 hours of pvp.

Granted I did over 200k in 3 weeks but that was including the first week before the honor nerf and massively grinding this past AV holiday. I also grined 8-11 hours a day the entire time. On top of that my guild can routinely puts together 10-12 man teams.

oh ok. Well i had a cool troll hunter, but then got another account, and wanted a rogue since they do well in the bg. So, I wanted to try alliance side, and gnome seemed to be one of the better choices. I wanted a human looking race, not ugly hunched over night elf/undead.
