WTF...BWC on lamorak on three different realms? Can't we all just get along? Why do we all have to be on different realms? This is going to fail one if any will succeed causing others to fold into it.

By then the ones that folded in will give up because they will be behind the curve. This is going to split us even more so than before. I wanted to do alb but bottom line is im going to play with my friends and I want to play with them all but it appears as if my asshole friends have another motive. Their epeens.

In the daoc boards ive seen so many official where your going and even seen a couple of names on both. LAW can you delete all the irrelevant ones and make three "Official" Sticky threads with Alb here. Mid Here Hib here. I would like to see what the make up of each realm is going to be.

People have played DAOC TO DEATH, the main reason for coming back is because we need something fun again to kill time, which is why people don't want to roll mids, some don't want to roll albs etc. Some people are just burned out on doing the same thing so they want to try something different for a change.

My take on the new servers is that they are just there to kill some time, a month, maybe a bit more, until something fresh and new comes out that gets people wetting their pants like they did with WoW.

You don't need a guild to play with your friends, you join one to meet new ones.

I think it might actually be good.

From the looks of it, the people who want to play 8v8 have gone to Midgard, whereas the ones who are more interested in non-8v8 more casual play are playing alb.

IMO, this has been part of BWC's problem in the past, where some people are still interested in being #1, and some others have cooled off a bit and want to play the game on a more casual level.

The only real danger I see is people starting to trash talk (and not as a joke) once things get going.

If people can't handle trash talking why are they in this guild? lmao

at first i was uneasy with the idea... but now ive come to accept it. in my opinion bwc has gone from being a guild (back on Mid Merlin) to being a loose association of online game players and friends. maybe one day a game will come out that will bring us back together but untill then thats all BWC as a whole really is.

No leadership = no guild.

If Super would speak up and we had critical mass on one realm I would go. As it stands everyone is picking a realm based on personal preference including myself.

Maybe we should all go alb-Lamarak and do hib perc as an alt realm since Eirenne is there. We've done the mid thing and I've never played an alb to 50 it could be fun.

This is the one reason I placed the DAoC Board (all this shit will go there some day) outside of the public once more. Keep the trash talk there as much as you can on all sides. If we were interested in kicking out the friends of our past we would have long ago and no one here really wants that.

Anyone that has gamed over multiple years knows there are dry spells in game development and there is little wrong with a guild not losing their jobs and wifes over bullshit (ask Mourningblade). WTF is there to do if not dick around for 3 months spamming buttons in DAoC?
