strength and attack power conversions

basically how does it work? i know that basically 1 staminia is about 10 health.
but how do strength and attack power increase dps?
which would be better? a 40dps axe that has +12 strength or same axe that has + 30 attack power (fictional weapons)
ive not seen this data anywhere!

attack power rules.
stam and crit and attack power are melee's best friend

I think that for warriors 2 attack power = 1 str and like 2 or 4 str = 1 dps.... There was a thread about it on the Warrior forums long ago, but it's been a while since I played and I haven't read that thread in ages so I'm not exactly positive. Chances are that it's different based on class just like agi->crit is different depending on class.

yeah..yeah ok thats what i thought. just making sure i dont buy the 'wrong' weapon.
im looking at getting 2x Dimensional Swords of Power: 1h swords that are 35dps and +28-30 attack power, speed is 1.6. they're only green quality but they arent to bad..just need to see if i can find some, try'em out.
