Therefore, since groups have limited space, the Hunter suffers a lack of group invites in the end game. He is seen as little more than "filler" for the last spot if no other "necessary" class can be found.

Lol, this is very true, but this has been true for Daoc and prob any other game. I had a pretty good idea what I was getting into when I decided to play hunter. Nature of the beast.

As much as I would like to agree with this guy's opinion, I really can't.

True I could drop a trap, and pull, but it would be no where near as efficient as sheep/sap and charge. Any more, raids are for loot in places we've all been a million times. The faster the better. Obviously certain times a hunter pull is better (MC for instance to split pulls).

Also, this guy doesn't mention the /assist value at all when warrior/rogue tanking. I'd rather stay in effective ranged weap distance and shoot.

I personally like the Priest mind control pull, but thats just me.

Hunters could pull, and prob do a decent job of it, but I'd rather let someone with twice my hit points and a healer in their group do it. (last MC raid my group was 4 other hunters. We had alot of fun yelling at each other for heals :P )

I like to keep my hunter in the rear with the gear.

Freezing Trap CC isn't worth it, unless for some reason you are fighting multiple pulls of something that isn't Humanoid/Beast/Dragonkin/Elemental. Too inconvenient. :O

We used freezing traps to hold one of garr's elementals still after they became immune to banish.
