Adopt a newb

Postby slythetove » Mon Feb 21, 2005 12:00 pm

I have adopted Braegund and will be sending him enough money to purchase his horse at 40. I am sending him 10 gold for every level he gets from 30 to 40.

I recommend that some of you guys find a true lower level guildy in their 30s and offer to buy them their 40 mount / riding training. 100 gold. At level 43 I already make 4 or 5 gold an hour minimum. I can only imagine at 60 how much you can make.

Getting your horse is a sweet deal, and a great motivation to continue on to 60.

Not a bad idea, I would be willing to pitch in what I could when I am higher. My computer blew up on me so I havent been able to log on for a while now, but my brand new one should be delivered tomorrow. I'm actually a lot more motivated to level now too, because I played a friends priest the other day and saw all the different toys you get at higher levels. Fun fun fun.

Teif if you aren't 40 yet you should be on the receiving end of the adoption, not the giving end.

I'm far from 40 because I had to reroll to a new account (my first priest was on my fiancees acct because i wasnt sure if id like the game), but unless something comes up where i need to shell out tons of cash I'll be more than set for my mount when I hit 40. I like the idea though :)

considering I am lvl 58 and have never made more than 70 g, I just don't see this happening.

If I didn't get a free mount I wouldn't have had one till I was in my 50s.
