From VN. I thought this was very funny.

I know, I'm just ranting. Hopefully someone out there knows what it's like to play with your significant other, and lose the appreciation when your personal gaming experience goes to crap because you're preoccupied with horrible frustration.

So what do you guys think? I'm an asshole? Need to seek some patience therapy? Shouldn't play with her at all? Quit the game altogether?

Just curious what your opinions are as usual. At this point I'm considering sitting her down and having a talk, making her some macros, and so on. but that might not go well - at all.

much love,

xen

haha funny thread.

this reminds me of playing starcraft with my girlfriend. I had a little more patience than this guy and we were at different colleges so I could laugh at her without her getting mad.

I would look at her camp and see nothing but 50 firebats because they were "cute"

I'm glad my wife doesn't play.
If she did, I would just let her do her own thing. and help when she asked.
the guy in the thread sounds like a prick.

LOL that guy needs to lighten up a bit geeze very few of us women gamers out there LOL

But i'm pretty bad about getting too into the game. if i'm really into it i will ignore everything in the room. You can even offer spanks and i'll say what did you say? (just ask preem) Which is kinda the reason why i haven't really truely gotten into wow. I have way too many distractions in life atm for me to truely get into my gaming mode LOL.

Man that thread really did hit home for me. When I first started DAOC Menagery played with me as most of you already know. I used to get asked 5,000 Questions a day and get yelled as for not having enough patience or making her feel dumb. But I never gave up. She says that she only plays these games because I play. But there have been bunch of times I have been on the couch all alone watching a movie while she was on a raid :P

I now ask her all the questions now........ usually about Quests that I'm too lazy to read. As far as the gaming goes, we play on the same server but instead of riding my coattails she if off doing her own thing. I have come to the conclusion that she might not press the buttons faster then me or ever be as good as me in a PvP. But she can organize quest raids, start Pve grps with the best of them.

Oh and Btw.... women are always stubborn.

Kelly is the same way. She just one day logged on my account and started playing and hasn't stopped since. She asks a ton of questions but never really wants the answers as she bitches at me when I give them to her. So I just let her be. Now we're both happy :)
