Heard someone already 60 in WoW. 2-weeks of fun, and 6-months of good PvP before gayness sets in I predict. Am I wrong?

I'd rather hit myself in the nuts with a sledge hammer then play eq2. The fact that 99.9% of people who play EQ are people I wouldn't give the time of day to on the street and got bullied in High School is enough to detour me from it. The only good thing that game is good for is keeping those ugly people out of the real world and preventing them from reproducing.

hahahaha too funny.

You all know my feelings on EQ.

can we say redundant time sink with zero high end and no incentive to do anything other than to be able to inspect someone and be able to say "your gear is teh suq"

no thankies.

Are these comming from the same people who whine after a good end-game ass kickin' and Log?

no ting, coming from people that don't want to kill something that can't do anything back to us other then swing.

Hell even WoW mobs turn me into chickens.

It's all about playing with friends, but EQ2 has no end game, just like AC, boring like hell.

WoW has potential we'll see what happens.

That would apply to any other MMORPG. It's all the same, just different graphics and variations from the rules. :bigups:

WoW is just right for me in terms of Fun vs. Grind factor. From what I've read to date EQ2 is yet another mind numbing grind based old generation mmo with a graphical facelift. I played about 8 hours of beta and admit the world is pretty but it wasn't a fun game - WoW hooked me my first hour.

If the game gets old in 6 months who cares ... least I will have had fun for 6 months.

WoW is just a bit better than most mmo's I've played and that's my story and I'm sticking with WoW.

Who cares about winning against AI? Until skynet starts fucking you up with nuclear missles, noone. Grind to get levels, level to get gear, get gear so you can go kill biggers stuff and get more gear. Level up some more with the new level cap, kill stuff to get gear. Use this gear to kill mobs to get better gear... yea, are we bored yet?

Never played EQ so really can't comment....

I will say that running around doing quests with Sir Gimpalot (AKA Winke) I have had more fun PvP wise in the last week than I did the last year of Daoc (other than the Zephyring albs off boats, I will admit I had fun doing that)

Occasional zerg beat down, but we have had some really fun 2 vs 2 and 2 vs 1 fights against a wide variety of levels.

I'm just looking forward to some kind of PvP rewards or kill spam....something

thats cool, I'm not a anti-wow just wanted to light some flames to see how attached people are to the game yet :)

Once a good PvP system is in-place and balancing tweeks are done i'll be sure to pop right over and level up to kill people. I'm guessing after Xmas sometime you will see my punk ass off EQ2 and playing WOw with yea :)

Yea he was braggin to me how leet his assasin is in WoW. I'll get in-game and show him up soon. He's just getting his revenge because he never could be as good as stab in DAOC no matter how hard he tried.

EQ2 was already dreadfully grindy at 15 / 16. That's lame. Forced grouping? Lame.

So far I'm really enjoying WoW. I should have known Blizzard knows their shit. They always do.
