BWC and WoW?

Postby Fardomar » Fri Oct 29, 2004 7:45 am

OK people, with the release of WoW looking more and more like it will be within the next few weeks, it's time to see how many BWC are planning on playing it. Several times in the past I have posted these looking to see just how many of you are going to pull yourself away from that old and tired game DAoC. Each time only several responses were made. If you guys want to play on a PvP server we need the WHOLE guild there not just a handful.

I refuse to play on a PvP server with only a handful of people, trust me it won't be fun at all. Lucky for me I have other options I can turn to but my first choice would be to play with BWC.

Other guilds are making plans for class/race combos and tradeskills and all that. If we are serious about this game so should we.

um, I think we are all very dedicated. About 15 people in BETA.

I know at least 20 people.

Myself, we are going to the PVP server, playing horde.

I will be playing a mage.

I look to people like yourself, Sirion, Zera, etc.. to help us through the stages of getting levels, quests, etc. and getting the guild started.

Thanks for the help and leadership thus far.

I have myself, 2 friends, and an uncle and cousin that will be playing. So +5 from my end.

I was thinking warlock/mage but I think I might try out the shaman depending on how i like it in open beta.

I will be in a guild of at least 10 which will be allied to a group of RL friends that will have probably another 10. I'm all for helping you WoW newbs get started, but realize that for some of the horde content I have no clue where things are, the whole reason I played alliance in beta was to get a handle on the alliance zones, where people hang out so I know where to kick the shit out of them, where noone goes in case I need to log quickly or rest/meet up with people, and so that the horde content wasn't old and boring for retail.

That said, I will be happy to help/quest/and kill with you guys whenever you feel the need... especially for bloodshed.

I don't know if I want to go warlock or warrior at this point. Rogue is by far the funnest class I played during beta, but I just don't know how much it will bring to group pvp, much like DAoC, although they are MUCH more group friendly than a Rogue in DAoC.

Well being I know alot about the horde side I will offer as much as my knowledge as I can. Filth knows about alliance and I know horde so the guild will have us and Law to help out with quest etc. I am either going female undead warlock or male orc rogue. After playing the rogue class to 54 I have to say this is the class I have had the most fun with, its just toooo much fun.

orc rogues suck... trolls are hands down the best rogue that can be created on the horde side currently, not only do they look better than orcs (especially the females) but they are statisticly better as well.

Trolls are F'in ugly man. But so are orcs. Undead and Tauren are the only decent looking races. Which is why I'll be makin a Tauren Shaman I think.

Troll women look very nice if you make them right. There is one face that looks alot like a night elf. The crappiest thing about the males is the hunchback of notre dame deal they have going on.

I am just hoping we have about 20-30 people who are going to play, especially if we play on a pvp server.

But here again I make this post and not many are responding?

I already know that zera, 6 rl friends, 2 in game friends, and myself will be playing on pvp horde in WoW beta. That's already 10 people, although most of them won't be in bwc, you guys are welcome to play with us or message us for groups/quests anytime.
