One thing I loved about AC was looting people ... can't seem to find any data on that on pvp forums.

Given WoW's lenient position on death penalties I doubt this is the case?

Wow really did something different with items. 75% of the gear in the game is bind when equiped so I'm not sure that would fit. I do hope they grant more insentive for player killing though.
