You know seriously, I really don't know what I want to play anymore.

There's one thing I really want to do: [glow=red]Maximum Carnage![/glow]

Did you guys read that post about the warrior doing over 1.7 with fury and cleave? Yeesh. Anyone happen to know what kind of damage a mage is capable of at 55+?

Yea, they continue to nerf the shit out of mages (on top of the serious buff to resists last patch, now spells have a chance to miss ) and gave Warlocks some much needed love.

Rogues may be the hardest hitting class now.

BTW, is there any word out there about invisibility for mages? Last I heard, Blizz was eventually implementing some sort of rework, and it would be back in some new form but that was a while back.

So rogues are the hardest hitters?

Now is that up front one hit damage or are we talking after they build up their rage or whatever it is they use?

It does look like warlocks got alot of love, but they're basically dot kings. Dotting just doesn't seem that awesome in WoW with its interrupt system and mana regen so nice.

Although, a warlock plus a group of mages is nice... fear + nukage is awesome.

i would still take a mage over a rogue for instances if not for summoned drinks and recastable poly, not to mention ARCANE EXPLOSIONS <3

Good points Sirion and by no means are Mages gimped now. Before they were just unbelievably overpowered. It was border line disgusting.

My dear will Dots in WoW are not crappy daoc dots, you see the dmg they do on the person you can stack 3 diffrent dots on 1 person 1 dot is insta cast the other 2 dont take long to cast and you can still land the spell if getting wacked on. Warlocks also have Hellfire, which is an insta cast rain of motherfucking death that will not only kill the Zerg but kill you ><
Warlocks also get a version of Pyroblast, DD, and also alot of tricks to nullify people. All in all when the last talents and spells are added Warlocks are going to be up there in terms of asskicking 101, while not BURST dmg
IE mage dumps for example can dump 3000 dmg in 10 seconds a warlock can dump 3000dmg in 15 seconds with out losing mana. more less.

Yeah, I think I might go warlock... it was my initial decision and I think it'll be good to give them a go.

Man Warlock DoTs can stack now, and is intended by Blizzard, that's a really awesome change, probably one of the best things they have done for their beta since I've been playing. Now having more than one Warlock won't gimp a group in any form since you will get two curses, anywhere from 4-6 DoTs, plus awesome AE, Soulstones, Healthstones, Summoning, Fear, and Banish not to mention Pet Mez via pet tanking (Voidwalker) or recastable Seduction with no cool down (Succubus). Just the speed increases on Warlock DoTs alone makes me think they will be highly viable for both PvE and PvP group situations. I was poking around the Warlock forum and stumbled across a post showing rough DPS of their DoTs, alone they were doing something like 22-30 DPS, which means that all of them stacked (from a single Warlock, and not counting AE) will be doing anywhere from 40-90 DPS. That's a drastic improvment as far as I'm concerned. I tried making a new Warlock yesterday, and it was amazing how much faster things were going down.

I'm going to highly suggest that anyone that was remotely interested in playing a Warlock in retail to check it out in Open Beta, they have really done alot for that class with just this patch and they are STILL missing one whole talent tree AND at least two pets.
