bla bla, i got suspended fyi. macro'ing some damned end buff for the guild while i went to a party... so for 7 days from superbowl sunday, bugsi, the best shaman merlin has ever seen, will be out... i'll play friends acc's for the time being i guess

and NO MORE END BUFFING FOR YOU. dont ask me when i'm back. hehe :blush:

Ahh, I thought maybe it was for crafting... I don't understand how they caught you? Did someone report this, or do they check logs for macroing ?

ya check this out.. this was in my email

On 1/26/03 at approximately 1:30am EDT, customer was logged and subsequently observed using a Scripting/Macro program by Mythic Employees. Server side chat log were pulled during the investigation and found the following:

[01/26/03 00:08:33] [][Bugsi]:[&g k i'm2 off, if i die, leave me]
[01/26/03 00:08:58] [][Bugsi]:[&g gotta go party]
[01/26/03 00:09:18] [][Bugsi]:[&g boot me from grp if u need spot]
[01/26/03 00:09:25] [][Bugsi]:[&g i'll stay on for buffs til i ld ]
[01/26/03 00:09:35] [][Bugsi]:[&g and lord room gives free end buff rolo]
[01/26/03 00:09:46] [][Bugsi]:[&g just stand in here and it'll give u]

This is in direct violation of our Terms of Service and Rules of Conduct. It is clearly written under "prohibited conduct":

PLAYER MAY NOT USE THE DAoC SERVICES TO:

13. Use any scripting or macroing tools or software.
14. Use any game hacking/altering/cheating software or tools. Use of these
types of programs will result in immediate termination of the Account and
may subject you to civil and/or criminal liability.

as you can see..i activated it because rolo asks for this 10minute buff every 3 minutes

and when i wrote that in group chat, we happened to have nonguildies in the group.. there were nonguildies in the group at that time, and first time i get caught since i joined merlin pretty much.. well.. email sent super. hope it works

true.. but i think its because of what aby saw me do in the SI town..

i guess when i died, then was sent to bind, my thing was still running and i was buffing up the npcs for an hour or so..
