cus COH is like planetside you can only stomach it for a month or 2 before it gets old

CoH is good but the gameplay gets reptitive and if your not with alot of friends its kinda bland. Even with WoW when I can play i find im not grinding im just taking it slow so i dont spoil it for myself, I even left a Good group to log. In the end what makes half of an mmo fun is
1part game and its mechanics
and
1part friends.
I kinda rellized why i stayed in daoc for so long now.

DAOC is like golf. You can go out and stink it up, but if you have one good shot or hole, you'll want to come back again.
So it might suck most of the time, but the highs of DAOC rvr with friends are awesome.
Give me another game that gives me that, and I'm outta here, but I just haven't found one yet. Maybe WoW will, I dunno.

bleh bled had a hole in the side of keep with 0 defenders
bunch of mids hid inside a green tower next to blend with 50 albs in it
most ppl stayed at blend or left to go do some ml steps defenders finally came wped us at tower

You mean Bled, and it was super gay. I cannot believe JJ kept running in and rolling us. We eventually roled him, and started making progress, but at that point there were like 3-4fgs inside. So after repeated deaths I had to log. I am sooooooooo close to RR6 too. Maybe tomorrow.

I really think that summertime is the demise atm for DAOC along with NF.
It's too easy for some people, including myself, to just log off and do something OUTSIDE. Rather than deal with NF's issues.
That's not a knock on anyone. When fall and eventually winter comes, I'm sure Daemic and I will be back to DAOC again, full time. We love to hibernate during the Michigan winters.
If another game does come out tho, I will definately try it out. Like Hall said, friends and mmo's are the best.
