Loss of the relics piss you off to bad to even think about MLs? I know it was gay, but what can you do? I hope you will still lead them. If not I totally understand.

In other news....

Albion has a total 63/96 relics atm across all the servers. Not alot you can do with numbers like that. If we were to all reroll a caster/archer we could prolly have a chance, but then what would be the point of being in the melee realm?

Looks like I am going ot have to start researching WoW. I was going to make this my last MMORPG.

albion has the population advantage on most servers. people can say we used to beat them all they want, but we used to take keeps in albs get 60-120 and sometimes more on our keeps there while still have 5-8fg of albs in emain and 2-3 fg in our realm trying to pull us out of alb by taking our keeps. now that they have taken emain away there is only one place to get rps, and its in whichever realm has the largest population (especially when you know they will come for their keeps). and since its the best way of getting rps you will see all those defenders we used to fight, plus the 2-3 fg that used to come to mid to take our keeps, as well as the emain whores. we just dont have the people to stand up to it, and im pretty sure its the same for alot of people on the other servers too, and there really isnt much mythic can do about it due to the fact that its a population issue and not as much a class balance issue (although albs DO have alot more casters than we do).

I think the relics could have been saved.

The first time, we had the population but no seige to counter over 40 catapults seiging us. Random stealthers suiciding into the pad to lower relic and get GTs. To my knowledge you need 16 enemies, not one person to lower relic. (This was when we lost the Alb power relic) There was a ML raid going on also (one of my toons needed that ML).

It was disheartening see 40 people leave the BG when Albs passed the relic gate on the way to the shrine. I'm not going to force people to defend. I had a bad case on MLF where I had a "realm leader" yelled at me for 3 hours because I wouldn't cancel my ML raid so he "could take" a relic. (not defend one...just take one) I promised myself that I wouldn't yell at people to defend after that episode.

Second time, we were defending the Mid power relic. We faired well because Mids got smart and we had counter-seige to their seige. At this point we had over 120 mids defending in the temple. Same thing happened, 1 stealther suicided into the pad and relic started to drop. Necros started grabbing GTs. I had DD traps at the relic base (where the relic is placed---at this point relic was lowered and able to be taken). I personally killed Soldor and a few other albs with a DD trap and Crystal Titan at the relic base. Then mids wiped the Albs after that. Finbar brought 50 hibs near the relic to farm. He got wtfrolled too.

Third time, Mids starting to get antsy about getting some keeps back. Dawgma lead a small group to get towers back. At this point, I had the BG on listen only as I was telling Mids to stay at the Relic Shrine because I knew Albs would be regrouping at Hlid. Drutt didn't like it when I had the BG on listen every 5 mins. I would turn back the chat on after I told everyone what to do, because every time I would say something...SOMEONE had something to say about how it sucks and I'm a newb and shit. So he took about 4 groups to go with Dawgma and formed his own BG. Then, random mid groups started to chase TG near Vindsaul. I can tell you 6 groups of Mids got farmed by TG and only 3 groups were left to defend the RK. By that time, 120 albs rolled up and took the relic.

So yes, I'm a bit pissed atm.

I won't do another Defense with Drutt ever again. I tried to lead a keep raid to get our keeps back. Drutt's guild members badmouthed me and just were plain rude in the main BG. He can fend for himself imo.

To answer your question, Bobyearl, I'm just doing ML9/10 this weekend. After that, no more from me. Until Mid newbs at least show some respect or at least listen to a LEADER when leading, no more from me. I can't handle XXXXX newb complaining about my idea or direction any longer. Some people just need to STFU and listen when frontier is in trouble.

In my opinion, we should run some alliance/invited guild only raids and have the bg passworded. It would hopefully cut down on the constant chatter and disrespect of the bg leader. A lot of us are tired of all the crap that goes on in the public bg's, but we still want to RvR. I'm definitely ready for some organized and productive rvring. Why don't we set up some bg's with our alliance, GoTW and MDoM alliance? Let the general Mid noobs see how we can accomplish things without all their uninvited input!

Maj ftw... I know today we actually had 2fg of NN running around(was awesome). We mainly stuck to ganking and swooping in to save the day when we were needed. We were all complaining about the gayness going on in the BG. It just seems a prob when you get to many geeks in the same BG. I know NN is wanting to stay out of the large scale battles atm due to the constant stupid spam. That is one of the main reasons we left Myth alliance in the first place. I know we would love to to do some /as only BGs and such. It might also help get some people interested again if we can have some successful raids go on.

So, let's do it. When and where? Who will lead?

I'm all for an alliance only rvr event, whether it be taking keeps or defending. I cant stomache being in the same area let alone the same BG/CG as the Myth alliance any longer as each and every one of them think that they are leading when in reality are just causing a multitude of problems as well as confusion.

Right now I also feel that Celestrial is hands down the strongest leader that Midgard has. Couple her abilities and knowledge of all realms with the know how of other leaders such as Dawgma, Joshll, and even Pugna [guy has patience of steel] and I forsee Midgard making a viable difference.

We will accomplish great things if we all work together as the team I know we can be or we will fail if we continue to have small clicks here and there just doing their own thing.

I think the intelligent choice is obvious.
