Gonna start on Merlin this week. Hey to those from Andred and Palo, candide/venderic here.

Ok, so I loved my SB on andred, so I am making another. Debating on a SZ temp and a soulblade. The SZ is auto to 40, then 37 st, 41 axe, 10 cs, 44 LA, 37 env. The soulblade would be 35 stealth, 35 axe, 34 CS, 39 LA, 36 env (auto to 36).

Getting brook/saphyre to play as well, and she will go healer. Question is, go after POM 5, or POM 4 and get the battery heal? She's always played druids so not sure what she wants.

And of course we multiplay, but she is going to stick with one. My other character I am thinking of a Runie, 47 RC/26 supression. GTAoE is great fun, and gives me 10s PBT (which I'll get the 26 sup first, then rest into RC'ing, or go all sup to 40 then respec).

Any thoughts? I'll use Mosthula's shammy to play buff bot on the 4th box and hopefully hit 26 quick enough so that the runie will be useful and the healer somewhat useful in any big groups.

I really wanted to toss a SM in there somewhere for PBAoE leveling, can't beat that. But RvR they just don't appeal to me one bit, and it would require us playing 4 newbs, which gets a bit cumbersome

Candid, it will be nice to have you join us man. As far as the RM template that is my spec for Nukey and was the cookie cutter RC spec. Highest bolt, cant go wrong. My Mordred beta crit blade was Norse 40/40/40/39 but that is a fairly old template. Guyute I know has played both. I'll go ahead and touch base with some healers in game and get some more answers there bro.

Thanks I had my shadowzerker on andred which I really enjoyed, and liked not having to worry about lining up PA's. However I noticed in keep taking PA's would be real real easy to land. Since my cousin and his gf are playing sb's, 3 of us doing pa's would be nasty. So I am kind of leaning towards the 5 spec template, especialy with spellcrafting available.

Poor saphyre is ticked she got us up to 850 SC'ing and someone with enough metalworking to do the salvaging on andred but oh well

Got plenty of time to think about it tho I'll try to hit 26 fast for the 10s pbt.

Havent RVR'd yet with my sb, still trying to finish up to 50, nother week maybe 2. From what i've followed in /gui there definitely seems to be a lot of action in emain, but usually in the form of mass amounts of people. This is what sealed my fate as a SZ as they tend to do much better in large scale, open field battles. The game just is no longer about solo RvR, still can be done, and both templates your looking at can both do fairly well. 5 sb's sounds like a nice number for a tight gank squad

Emain Mancha is not for solo RvR, but there is plenty of fun to be had in other places. Gorge.. Alb frontier.. Odins... etc. Thats all I have to say about weaklings =p. By the way stay tunned for the video clip of yeung, elfdroper, and I as we barrel down some gimpish hills.

Grrr, here I go talking to mosthula/cthulu in email all day today and pretty much decide on a 5 spec, and now I lean back towards SZ. I rarely ever, well, never solo in rvr. There are a lot of us from the same city (altho only me, most/cthulu, his gf serephina/niko/whoever she is playing, hyla/desmog/crypto and saphyre/brook are playing on merlin) so we are almost always playing together. I had my SZ at 50 on andred for a while now.

Dunno, I like leading the big fort raids, so if they don't happen a lot now maybe they will start up some more soon. Will just go LA/Axe up to mid 30's and decide there.

And hey Phin, haven't seen ya in a while You still play at all on Palo? I konw ronfar and daoiid give us a hard time for playing other servers

Perfert Recovery and make sure she goes enough mend for spread heal.
