Personally I think everyone one of us that hardcore RvR's when we play needs to obtain this artifact.

[shapechange is baby croc about 1/3 the size of a lurikeen] all/all


I would really like to try to get a group together [or more] and do the quest enough times so that all have the item and then take the time to get it leveled.

If a bunch of us do it togetheer it will go alot faster and be a whole lot less boring.

This shapechange can really give you an edge in RvR [IMO]


Anyone interested in doing this quest please post here, I have a feeling enough of us want to do it to get it done.

I do, but please tell the group details of the quest, how to do it, times, can a fg of 8 do the quest, etc?

Then we can assign who gets it time after time.

Also what group make up do we need? Casters or melee?

once we did it once on our mains we can log on our warrior/skald alts to help.

today (may 17th) we will be on from like 7pm est. maybe a little later, we gonna go watch troy.

this artifact is a quest without any significant repop timers on the spawn?

cel said it can be done with 1fg, 3 healers and 3 tanks mandatory tho.

I tried to get back on Vison of Sages website to copy and paste the quest details/tips here but their site appears to be down atm.


I participated in this quest on Tristan and we did it with 8 people, I agree with Cele that it can be done with one group as long as the brawn and the heals are present.

I will keep checking to see if the site goes back up and then post the quest details here when first able.

Im not sure of the repop time on the mob, if anyone has any details please post them.

The croc shapechange is for water only tho, right. Sobekite in land?

here's the deal.
you guys have no pet spam, so you're gonna have to use tanks.

this sucks.

have all tanks bring a couple different types of legendary weapons.

you gotta use the damage type "OPPOSITE" what it says its weak to.

If it says its weak to slash, and you start using slash, game over.
thus... legendary weapons time. you get all of like 1 second to change, so no afk. no pet spam = 30 min melee fest. gonna be fun

This is how we did it with 1 grp Killets.

We had 3 tanks: 2 Warriors, 1 Zerker. All 3 of them had 4 different LW (Heat, spirit, cold, energy), either sword or hammer. They switched between each weapon every 2 min or so. We had 3 Healers (2 Aug spec, 1 mend/pac). Aug spec healers with damage shield hit mob btw 45-80. My 22 aug shield was hitting mob btw 35-60 and 30 with malice hammer when crush is good. 1 Shaman for end. 1 Caster (or whoever needs artifact in group). It was about 15-20 min fight. We kill the mob near the roof so we don't have to deal with adds.

in contrast...

this this encounter today with:

1 druid
1 hero
3 animists
1 eldritch (lvl49)
1 bot-bard
1 bot-druid

after we found the right chest, it took about 3 min
i got 2 shot (i'm the druid), then the mob insta died right after.

Well, we havent had any tanks post as to their interest in this artifact as of yet.

Let's try to set a night/time to get this done; which means we need TANKS.

well it takes about 11 hours to level it to level 5, since it ONLY levels on Sobekite Khus (Blue con mobs). Does not xp on Hulks, mobs in ML2 dungeon etc.

I don't know if its worth spending that much time leveling it.

Oh yeah it took Emalei and I about 2 days to figure out a "farmable" plan to kill the mob. It used to take about 2 grps with no success.

We figured a way to do Jacina's sash with 4 people. heh. Thats my next art.

What about belt of the sun weapons, they really don't have a weap type for greaves.

sun belt makes a sun greave its green, and its 3.4 or 3.8

11+ hours of pve, no thanks

I still want to do it.

umm...

this artifact is having its xp requirement lowered, and it is retroactive.

if you get it to level 3, it will magically become level 10 by next patch.

don't waste your time.
