Just curious if any of you guys are interested in an Artifact Raid in the near future.

If you're interested, just post when you're available and what artifact you'd like to go for. If we have the man power we'll try and get all the listed artifacts.

I think i'd like to get Shades cloak ot Traitor's dagger.

I'm wondering tho, do both item's do the same proc? And as a hunter, do I have to equip it to use shade mode, or get it to proc. Because I won't be able to use it, being a spear spec.

P.S. I also need gear PERIOD. I have only rolled casters in DAOC (Daemic included), so I have little to no melee items.

they have different procs.

shades of mist has a basically uber 200 ablative proc that goes off ALL THE FREAKIN TIME. Your hunter can tank like 2 guys and win with it on. 15min recast, forgot the duration. the other ability is stealth lore, so a good stealther cloak.

traitor's has 2 abilities. the offensive proc, which you can't use, summons these vampiric pets which pretty much heal you up to full and does decent dmg vs enemies. great for casters if you can dual wield especially. the charged ability gives you another offensive proc, which is kinda nice. it sucks 50 life from you, but deals like a 150 damage proc vs them (if you have power relics, 200 dmg.. hehe).

you can have TD and SoM procs up at the same time

Killets to stick with BWC on Merlin pls. Dude you know so much and Merlin could really use you. Sticking on Lance just seems like not playing with your bros on Merlin ~

oh, i forgot to say, TD /use2 is a 10min duration 30 min recast. so while that self-lifedrain proc is pretty cool, its only 10 out of 30 min. not really that useful. not to mention TD is a level 40 weapon=it levels fast. even like super fast in modernagrav.

Im totally down for an artifact raid. Mondays and Wednesdays are normally bad for me, but I can usually work out any other night with adequate notice.


I would like to do a few artifacts actually:


Healing Embrace Cloak [have complete book]

Eternal Plant [have complete book]

and there are others, but I wont press the issue [unless we can put together a perma-quest squad that works diligently to bust out as many artifacts as possible that maybe hooks up once or twice a week to go quest happy]

I would also like to do Jashans Brother Quest, takes about 45-60 minutes to complete and I know a few people wanted to also do this quest, reward is three pieces of very decent class specific armor.

Anyhoot, Im down for artifact raiding, just let me know when and where to meet.

Aight so Phill and Rhia so far.

If you have a bot Phill, we can get you traitors dagger with just me and you. It's not hard at all. SoM we'll need Rhia (Who has PoF yea?) and maybe a tank or two more, plus a suicider. On top of that I'd like to get Malice but we'll need a shield tank and shaman plus Rhia.

I have no idea about Healer's Embrace or Eternal Plant but if we get the people I'd be more than happy to try and lead a raid on it if no one else knows how to do it.

As a note, I'd like to do the encounters enough so that all those that want the artifact can get it.

Also, this'll be need before greed. I freaking hate FFA raids.

Nope, sadly I do not have FoP [yet]. I dont have the time to do the MLs as of yet.


As far as cloak quest goes , its doable with a single group and I know what is needed to be done.

Eternal Plant on the other hand, I do not. I have the tips printout but I dont know anyone who has actually done it. Apparently there is a trick to get the plant to spawn. no clue. Would really like to do it though.


I'll check back for any updates on group later and maybe we can get a group going soon.

Ah I had thought Rhia got on the early MLs, but she was away for awhile when they got going? Damn damn damn... ah well maybe we'll get lucky and a guild healer will feel like blessing us with their presence.

Geeesh ya know just because I don't have FoP doesnt render me useless, thank you very much.
