Make sure someone is dead, before telling me he's dead.

I got a call from my step-brother, that my brother in law was sick again. He has a history of brain tumors, and the most recent tumor was inoperable, right behind his eyes. 4 hours later, he called in tears, my brother in law was dead.
Feeling horrible, I tell Daemic. Call my Father to see how he's handling it. To my surprise, he tells me Rob (brother in law) is doing ok. There gonna fly him home to Michigan from Virginia.
I immediately think that he doesn't know yet. My step-mother wants to tell him in person. I call my step-brother again to make sure he is in fact, dead. He said yes, but he'll call me back when my father finds out.
He calls back. He's NOT DEAD! YAY. YOUR AN ASS HOLE.
I was so relieved that hes still alive and theres a chance to save his life. But christ. In 4 hrs, we went thru an emotional rollercoaster. I'm fucking exhausted now.
Take this little bit of advice. I think it will help you and everyone else in the future. Make sure one is in fact deceased, before telling everyone they are.
P.S. Please keep this post in DoG. I posted it here for a reason.
