We will be making some decisions regarding officer chat in game.

We actually will probably keep this board the same, but trim the officers in game to VERY few for /os. /gu needs improvement.

yes, we encountered exactly the same problem in my european guild which i lead. we had a similar structure except having the /os rights starting at rank 2. people started to use the /os for small talk. basicly it wasnt wrong since they only wanted to to talk to the people who can hear /os anyways. but the leaders were concerned that the non-/os members would have it harder to integrate themselfes and the /os members forming a clique and leaving out others.

we went on and made /os just for rank 0. no officer felt hurt or not recognized by the leadership. changing the access rank to 1 for example wouldnt have solved our problem because most of the people talking there were old school rank 1's anyways hehe.

I will voluntarily step down from officer access if it helps. I'm not much of a leader anyway
But I still want access to the message boards dammit.
