Kim, want to create a ML MID Board for raids and schedule

For VN users to post on and Mids to post on then you can schedule and prepare people.

try telling it to barbos =)
ask him or you can track down the calander Php script that becomes an add-on for these boards (barbos is a jedi, and can install it with utter ease).
from there you can have a calander link(name it DAOc Event Calander) and from there ppl can just post up up-coming events/times with bg rules and what not. can even have it accessble to all 3 realms (color coated text?).
we just gotta moderate it or have players ask permision to be able to post new events in it (maybe under a usergroup?)

We've had a calendar for quite some time... Right now the only place you can create entries is the News Articles forum. We can create another events forum. It can also be set that only moderators of the forum (and user groups can be moderators) can post events so you can limit who has the ability to create calendar entries.
I'll set it up in a bit, and create a usergroup for it... who wants to be in charge of the usergroup ?

let Kim run it.
I'd place it as a separate user group and board called Midgard realm calendar.
Just people are going to have to request access now.
Tell me when you are ready and Ill post on VN boards, Place all Den of Gimps people to be able to add/edit/delete the calendar.

Done. Eirene is in control of the new group called Calendar MODs. Only moderators can post a new post in the DAOC Events forum. When you go to make a new post, you will have an option of assigning it a date, or a range of dates, and also make it reoccurring. Anyone registered will be able to reply, but only moderators can make posts.
Moderators include the Calendar MODs group and BWC DoG group
