This is between me and you. We had a woman from Trama post that legal action could be taken against me for allowing the file to be released. Lamm did talk to her in game and she seemed to know her stuff. I have had a few hate tells in game about it also. And the same threat was on VN yesterday but I got the mods to remove it.
I came home to threat again after work on our forums. So I came here quickly and PMed you and Barb to give you the heads up. I don't know if anything could be done because technically I don't think it is a "private" channel because like 16 to 20 people where in there. But who knows... We live in a country where a woman sued over a hot cup of coffee she spilled in her lap.
I actually had thought of posting the file myself. But I decided not to because I knew that the members of Redux wouldn't like it. Portraying what happened through a guild chat or tells is nothing like hearing the file. And people thinking that Drutt is a god and a wonderful man is something that gets under my skin as much as yours. I even think Celestrial thinks I am a fan of Drutt and she has no clue she judges me from a screenshot she saw about me laughing at an attack against you guys. She has no clue the conversations and arguements that has occured and started by me over all this dumb stuff over a game. No one and I mean no one in this game has gone head to head with Drutt more times then me.
What I can't believe and if you think about it. Is why the hell would he stay around here. I am not saying anyone ruined him at all. He did this all by himself and I don't think he has much respect in Mid anymore but there is still the fools out there. You really have to listen to all of that file. He got so violent I think he almost ate his mic. Just after that I logged in an told him "Drutt, you got it all wrong. This is my channel" and I banned him. That was how much I had to do with it besides listen.
I am just leaving him alone now. I don't want anything to do with it. He can play his game and I will play mine. Just sad really that he got so wrapped up in a video game that he lost his mind. We have all read the stories about EQ and a kid killing himself over the game. This is not as extreme but really bad never the less.

Gundorf the uber
just tell granz that no one can take any sot of lawful actions against him.. that it's not against the law to record/tape convos, ASLONG as one person is aware it is being recording which is in the convo.
and clearly the person whcih recorded it was speaking in it.. thus and therefore.. just tell granz to relax =)

Just so you know, that is federal law, and applies to phonetapping for the most part, but would reasonably be applied here. IF the person being recorded was in the same state as the "one" person who know about it, then it becomes a State issue, and each state has its own law. Some say it has to be all parties informed, some say just the one recording, and others say that no one has to know (or at least they used to, I wouldn't be suprised if that has changed).
Also, that only applies to the legality of it being taped or not. There shouldn't be any reason it couldn't be released to the public, but someone COULD toss in sexual harassment in there someplace, and they you are dealing with a whole new ballgame.
Would anyone get into real trouble over it? Nope, but it doesn't mean someone couldn't make someone elses life miserable for a bit with law suits.

Venderic, Candide or Mercutio in games.

this is what happens before he dies to albs and decides to jump off a 5 story building. this may not be as bad as killing himself, but with fits of rage like that when he sounds sober, (albeit redneck, but sober) i fear for what he does to himself and the people around him when hes pissed off and drunk.
