DE Leveling Guide

DE quests lvl 1-8
Min Req: Level 1
Undres's Shopping List - Type: Delivery
Reward: 500XP, 250gp
1. Speak with "Abyssal Celebrant Undres" just outside the temple's southern exit to receive "Undres's Letter" .
2. After activating his quest proceed into the dark elven city along the path.
3. Inside the city go down the steps and enter the first building to your left (warehouse). Speak with the NPC just within the door of the bank on the right side. He will give you "Dreviant Wine" as his last text option .
4. Proceed west to the large HAND in the city. then go north and up the stairs into the training building. Speak with "Master Trudy" I believe. One of the NPCs gives you "Margiel's Scripture" as their last option.
5. Head back south to the HAND again. Enter the armory (surrounded by lots of folks) and endure the lag to speak with the female armorer. She will grant you a "Ceremonial Dagger" .
6. Return to Undres at the Temple through the eastern exit and follow the path. He will reward you.
Min Req: Level 3
Sentry's Request - Type: Go Fetch
Reward: 1900XP, lesser healing potion
1. Speak to the Sentry across from Jenine and choose her last option to activate the quest.
2. Kill Ashen Wolves until you gather 13 dark bezoas.
3. Return to the sentry. Gain Reward.
Min Req: Level 3
Reward: 450a
1. Speak with "Sentry Jenine" just outside the Dark Elf Cave's Eastern exit receive "Jennie's Letter" .
2. After activating his quest proceed into the Dark Elven Cave and go to the Temple, you need to give the letter to "Master Harant". Harant will give you 3 "Sentry Blade" for distribute among the Dark Elf guards, per Jenine's orders.
3. Go back to Jenine. She will tell take one Blade and tell you that you need to take the remaining blades to Sentry Rosaline (located inside the Eastern exit) and Sentry Krpion (located inside the Western exit). They will both give you an "Old Bronze Sword" in exchange for a Sentry Blade. So, you'll have 2 Bronze Swords. Take these back to Jenine.
4. Jenine relieves you of the 2 Bronze Swords and gives you 450 adena.
LVL3
1. Speak with "Trader Paint" who is in the Armor/Weapon shop. He will ask to to collect 50 "Wolf Claw" .
2. Go outside, hunt Ashen Wolves. Each Ashen Wolf will drop you 1-2 Wolf Claw. You will stop accumulating claws at 50.
3. Go back to Paint. He will give you a random piece of armor in exhange for the 50 Wolf Claws. If you want to do the quest again, just say so and he'll have you collect another 50.
LvL5repeatable
1. Speak with "Sentry Krpion" who is the Sentry just inside the Western exit. He will ask to to kill Imps and collect "Imp Shackles" .
2. Go outside, hunt Imps or Imp Turens. Each kill will give you 1 Shackle.
3. Go back to Krpion. When you speak to him he will immediately cash in your Shackles for 5a each.
LvL8 repeatable
1. Speak with "Trader Vollodos" who is in the Magic shop. He will ask to to collect 10 "Fungus Sac" .
2. Go outside the West exit and travel along the road until you get to a large tower. Around this tower, hunt Forest Walking Fungus. About 1 out of 3 Fungus will drop a Fungus Sac. You will stop accumulating sacs at 10.
3. Go back to Vollodos. He will give you 2000a in exchange for the 10 Fungus Sac. If you want to do the quest again, just say so and he'll have you collect another 10.
LvL8repeatable
1. Speak with "Sentry Kayleen" who is the Sentry just outside the Western exit. She will ask to to kill Balor Orc and collect "Orc Amulet" and
collect "Orc Necklace" .
2. Go outside, hunt any variation Balor Orc (Archer, Fighter, Sub Leader, Leader). Archers drop the Amulet and every other orc drops the Necklace. There is about a 50% chance of drop.
3. Go back to Kayleen. When you speak to him he will immediately cash in your Orc Amulets for 5a each and Orc Necklaces for 15a each.
LvL10
1) Activate the quest in the Dark elf town by talking to the Dark elf boss/leader In the training temple. You will then be told to go and find Karutia.
2) Karutia is located in a “temple” just northeast of the Dark Elf town. He will tell you to find the altar and hunt 2 Tumran orc Brigad's.
3) Here’s how you find the altar:
a) Start from the southwest gate of the Dark elf town.
b) Outside the southwest entrance, there should be a road leading to the west forest.
c) After you travel a little bit along the road, you should see a tower on your right. If you do, you are on the right track so keep going.
d) A bit further along, on the uphill road there should be a bunch of towers on your left. Keep going. After you travel quite a bit, you will come to a fork (Where both roads split off at 90°) Turn right and keep going.
e) You will then come to a T in the road. Turn right(heading towards DE dungeon) you will come to the alter, it will be on your lefthand side.
4) Near the altar, you should see the Orcs up to your right in the woods. After you hunt these Orcs, they will drop an ancient scroll and an ancient spell book.
5) Return to Karutia and give him these items, and he will tell you to go to the Dark Elf boss/leader Shipiel in the Dark Elf town.
6) Shipiel will then give you the Eldritch dagger which is worth 12750 adena.
LvL10repeatable
1. Speak with "Tetrarch Kaitar" who is in the Dark Elf Town Temple (where you learn skills). He will ask to to collect 10 "Bone Pieces" .
2. Go hunt undead in the Black Magic Laboratory (Dark Elf dungeon). Personally, I hunted Skeleton Hunter, however any skeleton should do. You will stop accumulating pieces at 10.
3. Go back to Tetrarch Kaitar. He will give you 3000XP and 100a in exchange for the 10 Bone Pieces. If you want to do the quest again, just say so and he'll have you collect another 10.
LvL11 repeatable
1. Talk to trader Merianda (ok im not sure what her name is but it starts with a M, she is the trader standing next to Vollodos in the item/misc. shop)
2. accept her quest
3. go to the swamp that is off road to the south about halfway to the Dark Lab (the dungeon where u get the bones for the bloodsaber quest)
4. Kill Marsh Zombies or Marsh Zombie Pointers till u get 5 skins (yeah it is real difficult to get skins cause the drop rate is so random I once got 4 skins after about 7 zombies then went about 20+ zombies till i got my last skin)
5. Return to trader and recieve 2000a and healing potion
LvL11 Bloodsaber
1)To activate the quest, go to the weapon shop in the Dark Elf town. In one corner, should be Karoidu. He will tell you to deliver a letter to Sekutinon who is located in the “temple”.
2) This temple is located just northeast of the Dark Elf town. Inside the temple, Sekutinon along with other people will be waiting. Talk to Sekutinon. He will give you a letter and tell you to find Majester Harunel.
3) Once you find Majester Harunel, you will then have to go to the black magic laboratory. You must hunt undead monsters until you collect 10 bone pieces. To get to the black magic laboratory, you must first exit the Dark Elf town through the southwest entrance then travel west towards the beach. On the way you should see an enormous structure. This is the black magic laboratory.
4) Upon entering the black magic laboratory, you will encounter undead monsters such as Skeletons. These monsters will drop bone pieces.
5) After collecting 10 bone pieces, go back to Majester Harunel. He will then give you a Soulcatcher and tell you to go see Sekutinon.
6) Once you talk to Sekutinon, he will tell you to go to the swamp area to obtain a Zombie’s head. The swamp area is located southwest of the Dark Elf town.
7) In the swamp area, you must hunt Marsh Zombies until you obtain its
head. This will not be easy.
After obtaining a Zombie’s head, go to Sekutinon and talk to him. He will give
you a Bull Lion steelbender’s head in return, and tell you to go to Karoidu.
9) Karoidu will then give you the Blood saber.
LvL15
1 - Go to an NPC in the Dark Elf Town Counsel Room to receive you the quest. (ill fix this with the npc's name when i actually get to 14 on my dark elf)
2- He asks you to go fight Horrors and Lesser Horrors for 1 Perfect Skull and 3 Flawed Skulls.
3- When you have recieved the neccessary ammount of Skulls, go back to the same NPC in the Dark Elf Town Counsel Room and you will recieve Bone Gaiters (P.DEF 32 M.Def 0).
LvL15
1. Speak with "Calculain", in the Warehouse of Dark Elf town to receive "Calculain's Letter".
2. After activating his quest, you need to go to Gludio Castle Town and seek a dwarf named "Harprock", who is in the Warehouse there. He will take Calculain's letter you "Norman's andgive you 3000 adena.
LvL16
1. Go talk to Tetrarch Talloth in the skill temple at Dark Elf Town. Choose the second or first option, I can't remember which one . You don't receive any quest item to start with.
2. Go to the Dark Elf dungeon located on map (It's north of the altar, west of the waterfall). Head down 3 floors or something and you will see a bridge with Doom Soldiers and Thrill Seekers spawning on it, at the end of the bridge Cave Spiders and Cave Pokers spawns.
3. Cross the bridge and don't go down at the sides, instead proceed to the next room right in front of you after you crossed bridge.
4. Here you should find Tained Zombies, kill them untill you get 1 Tainted Stone (Usually get it the first kill).
5. Now you have to kill a Onyx Beast, they spawn in the same room but if you don't find any, go to one of the other rooms on the sides, don't go down at the bridge. Kill a Onyx Beast and you should get a Onyx Beast Eye, if not, then kill some more .
6. Now proceed to next room and you should find Lesser Succubus, kill them untill you receive Succubus Blood (Got it first kill as well).
7. Return to town with the 3 ingredients (Onyx Beast Eye, Tainted Stone, Succubus Blood) and talk to Tetrarch Talloth again. (You might want to bring an escape scroll down so you don't have to walk back)
Reward; 4900 Adena, 5000 exp
LvL18 repeatable
1) Talk to Astaron in dark elf town to begin.
2) Kill spiders*(poison or Bind Poison) until you've collected 10 venom sacs.
3) Return to Astaron for 3.5k
LvL21
1) Speak to Tetrarch Vellior in Dark Elf town to begin the quest.
2) Deep in the dungeon, you will see lots of Merkenis Escorts and Lesser Succubus Tilfos spawning. Merkenis, a succubus boss spawns in the center of this room. Kill her to earnaNightmareCrystal.
3) Return the Nightmare Crystal to Tetrarch Vellior to receive Bone Pieces of Breastplate (upper body heavy armor: 62 pdef, 300 weight).
LvL24 Warehouse at Dion Repeatable Quest (any race)
Level: 24+
Races: all
Repeatable: yes
Start: Jonas in Dion Town
Prize: 6000-10500 XP, 6800-9000 adena, other items to sell to store.
1. This quest begins with Jonas, an NPC in the Warehouse at Dion. Jonas makes Steak Dishes, however, he needs ingredients, which you must collect. There are 5 ingredients to a steak dish, the basics: Dion Potato and Monster Eye Meat, as well as the flavoring Moss Bundle, Honey and Mandragora Sap. He wants you to collect these ingredients for him, however, improving the flavoring will improve the quality of the dish. In the end of this quest, Magister Mirier will judge the dish and give you a reward accordingly.
2. Collect ingredients:
Mandragora Sap
Trader Sonia will help you obtain the sap. She will give you a Botany Book and tell you to hunt Mandragora for roots. Mandragora are located East of Dion town. Mandragora can drop two possibly roots: Red Mandragora Root and the more rare White Mandragora Root. You need to collect 40 root for her to make Red Mandragora Sap, however, if you collect 40 white root, she will make you the higher quality White Mandragora Sap.
Honey
Guard Jaycub will help you obtain the honey. He will give you a Insect Book and tell you to hunt Weird Bee and Bloody Bee for nectar. Weird Bee is located in a marsh area north of town and Bloody Bee is located south of town, near the first fork in the road. Both bees can drop two possibly items: Nectar and the more rare Royal Jelly. You need to collect 20 nectar for him to make Honey, however, if you collect 10 Royal Jelly, he will make you the higher quality Golden Honey.
Moss Bundle
Father Glyvka will help you obtain the moss bundle. He will give you a Botany Book and tell you to hunt Grey Ant and Crimson Ant for moss. Both ants are located North of Dion town, over some mountains. Ants can drop two possibly moss: Green Marsh Moss and the more rare Brown Marsh Moss. You need to collect 20 moss for him to make Green Moss Bundle, however, if you collect 20 brown moss, he will make you the higher quality Brown Moss Bundle.
Dionian Potato
Grocer Pano (who is in Florin town) will help you obtain the potato. He will give you a Contract and tell you to hunt Hobgoblin for Hobgoblin Amulet. Hobgoblin are located all around Florin town. You need to collect 30 amulets and he will give you a Dionian Potato.
Monster Eye Meat
Father Rollant will help you obtain the meat. He will give you a Creature Book and tell you to hunt Searcher and Gazer for Monster Eye Body. You need to collect 30 body and he will give you a Monster Eye Meat.
3. You should have 5 ingredients now, the meat, the potatoes, a moss bundle (Green or Brown*), mandragora sap (Red or White*) and honey (regular or Golden*). Take these five ingredients back to Jonas, who will give you a Steak Dish baked with your ingredients.
* = Higher Quality ingredient
4. Take the Steak Dish to Magister Mirier for a taste test. Depending on how much he likes it, he will reward you

Both ants are located North of Dion town, over some mountains. Ants can drop two possibly moss: Green Marsh Moss and the more rare Brown Marsh Moss. You need to collect 20 moss for him to make Green Moss Bundle, however, if you collect 20 brown moss, he will make you the higher quality Brown Moss Bundle.
Dionian Potato
Grocer Pano (who is in Florin town) will help you obtain the potato. He will give you a Contract and tell you to hunt Hobgoblin for Hobgoblin Amulet. Hobgoblin are located all around Florin town. You need to collect 30 amulets and he will give you a Dionian Potato.
Monster Eye Meat
Father Rollant will help you obtain the meat. He will give you a Creature Book and tell you to hunt Searcher and Gazer for Monster Eye Body. You need to collect 30 body and he will give you a Monster Eye Meat.
3. You should have 5 ingredients now, the meat, the potatoes, a moss bundle (Green or Brown*), mandragora sap (Red or White*) and honey (regular or Golden*). Take these five ingredients back to Jonas, who will give you a Steak Dish baked with your ingredients.
